Had this at the restaurant ... which means it was overpriced. Lots of tannins. dark fruit ... plum and dark/tart cherries. Went very well with a burger. Probably more of a cool weather wine. If you like tuscan wines, this one is a reasonable one to try. The current score of 75 is a little dramatic ... If you don't like chiantis, you won't like this. More for me!

Unfortunately, I have still 3 bottles left. Maybe things will open up with a few more years of cellaring?

12/1/2013 - Tomairm Does not like this wine:

Too late, poured out most bottles, mostly red deep into the corks.
Stored in my cellar. Temp 55- 60, humidity good.
Was very good a year or so ago???? Bought a case 3 yrs ago.
