Not much left here, acids have faded though the oak has kept the backbone intact. Bit of oxidization.

The fruit is mostly gone and the vegetal notes others expressed (earth, leaves, perhaps bell pepper) are all that remained in my bottle. Kept it too long.

Decent nose but obviously past peak on the palate

Drink NOW. Cork showed bleed, opened and drank a couple of pleasant glasses with flavors following previous descriptions (fruit, spice, musk). Gassed with Argon but was funky and a off on day two.

Still plenty of life left in this one and evolving nicely, popped, poured and enjoyed.

More complex and reserved than I expected, did well with some moderately spicy Thai stir fry.

Not enough acid to balance the sweet, maybe I opened it at an odd time in its life.

Decanted for less than an hour, incredible nose rivaling Brunellos I've had recently. Loads of sour cherry and dark fruit, went very well with Gorgonzola Gnocchi. Drink soon, definitely in peak form.

Light to medium bodied with bright fruit on the front palate, similar lingering finish I didn't expect of such a light bodied wine. Did best in a pinot style glass, will buy again at this price point. Great QPR.

Big and spicy, very approachable with none of the vegetal nature I usually expect from cab franc. Great QPR.

Very odd almost corked smell on opening, taste also impacted. Recorked, set aside on ice, and came back later in the meal and it was fine. Not stellar stuff but recovered from initial impression.

Drank this over the course of two evenings, gassed the bottle in between. Still plenty of tannin left which faded after an hour or two in the glass leaving the dark fruit and spice others have described. Still plenty of life left in this wine.

On opening the nose reminds me of a funky rhone, still has plenty of acid and fruit at this point but will echo previous comments about the lacking finish. My worries about the longevity of the wine were unfounded.

Past peak, acidity almost completely gone but fruit flavors still lingered. A shame as it showed a shadow of promise. Retailer who sold it to me 3 months ago goes on the strike list.

Picked this up at a discount from a store blowing out old inventory. Acidity trailing off noticeably but did well with some Thin Mint cookies. Well past its prime, have enjoyed this wine in the past closer to the release date.

Picked this up locally, acidity is far gone, wine flat but still has some of round fruit flavors.
