Great wine. Blueberries, raspberries, bright fruit notes. Milk chocolate, rosemary, white pepper, and maybe some faint liquorice.

Note bad for a Michie wine. Bit too fruity and one dimensional to make a run at greatness. Would love more yeast or brioche notes as well, but a respectable wine nonetheless.

Cranberries, very juicy for its age, faintest hint of menthol, shaved white pepper. Good wine.

Good wine. M+ to H acidity. Fiji apples, lemon peel, vanilla wafers, honeycomb, grapefruit. Really good balance. Great wine but maybe a little heavy on the acid.

Solid aroma. Cherries, cranberries, maybe a faint whiff of Red Vine. Palate not as good (but still decent.) little tart after alerting it breathe in the bottle for ~3-4 hours. Well balanced and integrated. Faintest bit of wet forest leaves and mushroom. Nice texture in the mouth and respectable finish. Solid wine, no fireworks but ain’t no shame here either.

young, but decanted for 4 hours. Big and dark berries but not the "bomb" i was worried about. Mossy with dense forest floor and an undercurrent of mint. Very balanced. Oak and vanilla, but not overpowerring. Really nice wine.

Drank at the bodega in Mendoza. Great acidity and complexity. Was really surprised as wasn’t expecting much. Lemon, crispy top of a fresh baked loaf, cinnamon, pineapple tart. 1.8 G/L makes it decently dry. $40 list price is big bucks down here but really blew me away with the quality. 3 years in the tank, 7 on the lees before release. They going to release their 2nd millesime (bodega opened in 2004) in 2019 with the 2009 vintage.

Opened 2.5 hours before serving. Blackberries, plum, forest floor, allspice, leather. Awesome wine that’s super balanced.

Gave 2-3 hours to open up. Jammy, but not a bomb. Lots of oak, dark chocolate, dried leather and dark fruits. Solid wine.

tasted like a swashbuckling beaujolais...little fruit left, dried cranberries, tough of menthol, week-old orange peel

nice bouquet, stone fruit and bit of coffee, faint floral notes, overly acidic and pretty tannic. Tight wine that didn't open up too much after 90 minutes. A decent wine overall, but nothing special.
