First, mango! Tons of mango in nose and palate. Second, looong finish and aftertaste lasting for a while minute. Third, the sweetness is fresh and untiring. Good amount of acid complemented the sweetness. Other aroma are apple, peach and pineapple. So complex. Color is deep gold yellow. Best Prum Auslese I had so far.

Still young and not ready. Muted and tight. Maybe because I had to open it early as I found leakage on cork.

I was hesitated to open this wine so young. But as I have a few bottles of it, it wouldn't hurt to waste one in worse case. Decanted for 3 hours and drank over the next hour. Colour was beautiful bright but deep dark ruby with no faded rims (still young I guess). Explosive nose of dark fruits, tobacco and moist earth. Tannin was crisp but no rough edge. Spicy and long finish. Strong and concentrate but with a touch of elegance. I'm glad I can open one each year over the next 5 years.

It's light in terms of color and body for an Amarone. Not quite as dry as I expected. Lots of red fruits and smooth tannins but lack complexity. A good but not wow wine. Went well with beef short ribs stew though.

Had high expectation. Decanted for two hours. It was good but not as great as hyped. Not typically jammy and bold in your face Australian cab. Nose quite reserved with mixed red fruits. Tannins are soft. Medium body and concentration. Some woody and leather but lacking complexity and depth of a top wine. Finish is medium. Heard that this wine could age for decades. Hope my next bottle in 2 years will be better. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice cab nevertheless.

Popped and poured. Big mousse. Very fresh and youthful. Lots of citrus (lime, lemon), green apple, apricot and peach. Mouth feel was crisp and zesty. Surprisingly not much taste of yeasts and bread. Overall a great sparkling wine.

Decanted 2 hours to go with beef shank stew on red wine sauce. Very elegant floral nose with stewed cheery and blackcurrant. Oaky but not overly dominant. Tobacco and cinnamon. Peppy spice. Tannic finish. Could improve for 2+ years on bottle.

A nice Australian CS but not as hyped. Good amount of red fruit, spice and tobacco but lack of complexity. Finish was just ok. Maybe a year or two will elevate it. But overall a nice cab given that I paid $30 Cdn.

My first Australian cab from Margaret River and it didn't disappoint. A reputable winery from a good vintage. Color was deep ruby. It's fresh without jammy fruits. Very much like an old world red. Tannins were smooth and sweet (two hour decant). Finish was just right. A very cab indeed.

Such a nice Pinot! Very fruity nose of strawberry with a lychee (yes, lychee!) and spicy finish. Color was mature brownish and body was light to medium. Tannins were still present and it would benefit from either 1-2 year bottle age or 1+ hour decant (PnP tonight). Went nicely with pan fried Salmon and prawns. Will crack my next and last bottle at least one year from now.

Blueberry, dark cherry and plum. Spice finish. Decanted for 2 hrs and consumed over an hour. Ready to drink and can last for a decade. Body is medium geared on the lighter side.

Much better than last bottle this time last year. First impression was as smooth as silk. Blueberry, dark cherry. Chocolate, tobacco and pepper with cedar and cigar box. Long aftertaste. Tannins still very noticeable but not disturbing. Very nice paired and a strip steak.

Short decant of about an hour to go with ribeye steak and sauted shrimps with garlic. Lots of red fruits, blackberry, black plum dark cherry etc. Vanilla and fragrant oak with peppery spice. Tannins are there but sweet with long finish. A very nice Australian Shiraz.

Upon opening, I smelled fragrant nose of blueberries and plum with light touch of oak and tobacco, although not as big and plush as a typical Australian red offer. Aftertaste and depth are still lacking to justify a higher score. Hoping it will continue to evolve in the next couple years

Surprisingly ready without much time on decanter. Very elegant with dried cherry and plum. Didn't feel tannic and easy to drink. Not much acid. Contrast to my impression of a robust favor.

Decanted only for an hour. Nose was restrained and tannic palate. Nice oak and tobacco though. Bitter leather aftertaste. Needs a couple more years in cellar or should be more hours in decanter.

Decanted for one hour. Strawberry and cherry nose. Surprised that it was light body and light/bright ruby color. If I tasted it blinded I'd say it's a Burgundian style Pinot Noir. But the 15.5% ABV showed its heat. Although a light and elegant style, I still felt the tannins were unsettled. Would it be better with one or two more hours of decant or one to two years of cellaring? I don't know and I will not know as it's my only bottle. Look forward to my another bottle of '16 in 3-5 years though.

Unlike previous bottles, this on was very tannic even after 2 hr decant. Fruit was muted. There was structure to last for a few years before it's ready.

Next day follow up: removed from fridge and bought it to room temp with two hours of decant. Much smoother with emerging red fruits. Much approachable than the day before. Upgraded from 89 to 91 points.

Decanted for an hour and drank over another hour and a half. Color was dark and didn't show signs of maturity. Initially a mild amount of dark fruit with restraint. Leather, pencil and cinnamon. Tannins were very soft with long smooth finish. After an hour, sour cherry and plum became more pronounced. Overall an elegant style with smooth after taste at its full maturity.

Edited: Day 2 tasted better with more fruits nose, more structure and concentration. Everything was boosted like on steroids. Upgrade rating from 90 to 92.

Unlike last bottle, this has a lot of new oak after an hour if breathing, then faded away at the second hour giving way to lots of plum and blackcurrant as well as herbal note. Spicy taste and sweat tannins. Very fresh and have lot of life ahead. Yummy stuff.

Wow, my first bottle of Camernere and I am impressed. Upon opening, explosive nose of dark fruits and violets. Fresh oak wood smell. Color is as the wine name suggests, deep dark purple. Tannic and long finish. Wait for 2 hrs and consumed over another hour. Oakiness faded little making balance. Dark fruits nose remained dominance with hints of chocolate, leather and earthiness. Spicy taste lingered with very long finish. A very complex and full body wine. Agreed that it's still young and may be better in 2-3 years.
