Really good - Best bottle yet. Just a little bit of alch. showing through keeping it from scoring a couple of points higher.

Cork soaked thru. Lighter than expected but still decent given the condition of the cork.

Really enjoyable. needed a lot of air but once it opened up it was wonderful. Much better than the 07 Snowden Resv, (good but not in the same league on this showing).

Takes time for the spritz to blow off but once it does it's excellent. Give .t 2 hours of air or more.

The post from JRDillon got me thinking that I better check in with the 01,03 and 04. So far I've opened the 01 and 03 and I agree with JR with a couple of small exceptions. The 01 was amazing when opened but I was called away and didn't get back to it for around 4 hours. By then (still in bottle/not decanted) it had declined significantly. Had some left on day 2 and while still drinkable it was nothing like past bottles. The 03 has also lost some of it's charm. I agree with JR and will change my dates to drink the rest soon. Up later this week will be the 04.

Whilel still good this bottle wasn’t as vibrant as in the past. Open another one soon. They might be on the decline.

Not very enjoyable when opened. There’s a small amount of carbon dioxide that took longer than expected to blow off. The wine came across as thin and out of balance. Corked the bottle after a glass and drank it the next day. It still took the carbon dioxide some time to blow off but when it did the wine was great. If you’re going to drink now give it a vigorous decant.

Gift from friend. Fill looks good. Color looks good. Cork looks good. Pour a glass and really surprised that it looks like it could have been bottled yesterday. Nice fragrance. Tastes great. Probably better years ago but I’m shocked at how good this is today.

Very easy to drink and like. Had it with the BF from 2002 and it wasn’t quite up to the challenge. Nevertheless, very nice bottle of wine.

From magnum. Very little of the BF spritz on opening and it dissipated quickly. Just excellent. Had some the following day and it had fallen off a little bit. Pop and pour the next one.

Too much oak for me. Hopefully it’ll settle down some. Very thick and Rich. Jand A liked it.

Not sure that I've ever had a B that is this rich and forward. Still everything is balanced but the tannin is gone and there doesn't seem to be much structure.

If you open these make sure you have time to give them plenty of air. These remind me of the 1999 7S (took forever to open up and are now drinking well). The 2002 Anden is richer but still has that wildly fresh acidity that gives it bite and really demands some fat (salmon) to balance it if consumed without sufficient air. Last glass was by far the best on the second day. Lots of life left. 93+

Excellent. These continue to open up. Really soft cork had me concerned but the wine was fine. Still tight when first opened but with a couple hours of air it was beautiful.
