Definitely agree with the prior posts but I do believe this wine needs some time to open up. Strong fruit flavor, but seems to be a good mix of red and blue- I am getting cedar notes as well. Well integrated with the alcohol- seems to me to be superior to the Romeo.

5/4/22, 3:42 PM - Having it again today- lighter color, very smooth 14.8% alcohol . Again strong wine. I think 91 at this point.

Coming out of the cellar this had a nice blue fruit nose, nice color- nice clean finish. Alcohol 15.2 is well integrated . Will see how this changes after being out of the cellar. Good wine for the price but I have a feeling with a bit more time out of the cellar and more decanting I may not like it as much. Will see

5/3/22, 2:01 PM - Very interesting , but after getting some air the nose has improved - getting a bit of cedar and good blue fruit- however the palate has gone down a few notches- mouthfeel still good but now has developed slightly off putting aftertaste- such a nice clean finish earlier. Wondering if some wines just should not breath as much. Now 88-90

Pretty solid wine. Pnp til 2 hours out, a plummy cab nose with some element of forest floor. Good weight in the mouth, nice density of fruit. Gets better with more and more air. 91 at the pnp, 93 two hours later. Trying to make the last bit in the glass, last another hour to see where it goes, but it all points to up another point with more air. The red plummy fruit turns a bit into red cherry by hours 3-4. The wine settles in nicely, all coming together into a very nice balanced, finished product with a touch of oak. Very good acidity adding backbone. I'd have to go with a 94 with 4 hours of air, so decant long enough to get it there.

Much better on second day as it fills out and gets more flavorful. Nothing amazing and not as good as older vintages.

May have to wait a while- popped and poured from the cellar. Needs time to warm up. Powerful, good young cab- not much nose and clean finish but not much flavor. I do like it but want to see how this changes.
