9/2/23, 11:26 AM - We are enjoying this in Torino. Just gorgeousness through and through.
9/5/22, 9:40 AM - @KCProper: Thank you for pointing out my error. "1994" in the note was a typo. We did indeed taste a 1974 vintage. I later found and purchased two bottles of the 1974 online (fill level better in one than the other). Haven't tried them, yet!
12/31/21, 5:48 PM - Agree. Just opened and poured for New Year's Eve. 93-94 points easily. And so youthful. Would have guessed Bordeaux, but 2010 or 2011.
2/27/21, 9:21 PM - I tried the Glad Wrap trick, only helped a little bit. Tragic.
11/24/20, 9:55 AM - "at nearly 50", did you mean "at nearly 60 years old"?
11/30/20, 12:09 PM - No worries. Enjoy!
11/27/20, 5:02 PM - Thank you for your careful review. I've got a 3.0L bottle. How many more years would you guess that has? --Ben
11/28/20, 10:39 AM - Thank you for these insights! Once the SARS2 vaccines are prevalent, we'll schedule a celebratory party and enjoy this wine. Cheers!
6/28/18, 1:15 PM - Love Bistro Jeanty! Thank you for the note!--Ben
1/11/18, 6:26 PM - Do you think you might have been better off to have opened it and drunk it right away? In my experience the 1982 Bordeaux hit there peak 10+ years ago, so I decant only to deal with sediment, and otherwise consume immediately.
6/29/15, 6:53 PM - Coincidentally, we opened the same bottle this evening - and agree with your assessment :) Lovely bottle for a hot summer evening.
11/29/12, 7:14 PM - Thank your for your review. We opened this last night, way too young/tight. So poured it back I to the bottle, corked it, and tried again tonight. Agree the body is thin, not sure if it has enough fruit to balance the tannins and acid. I think 90 points is a fair rating today.
Thanks for letting us know about this problem. We will review your comments and be in touch soon with an update.
