Sadly this wine was great when young bought 6 bottles on arrival, fantastic 3 bottles, after the age og 6-7 years in severe decline, last night after 60 min. decant, nose was ice but taste was thin and boring, aftertaste gone, what happened

This lovely wine is loaded with delicious fruity apperence, behind all that another taster found minerals and heavy acid after a long decant. I suggest to drink it young in 3-5 years then it glows❤️🇫🇷🍷

This is my best experience with this producer, drunk in a Zalto Universal, a very delicious nose, the prolonged elevage shines through, taste is balanced and seductive, a true pearl.

My last bottle, decanted for 60 min, color dark red, nose all you can think of with Cabernet Franc, truly delicious, tannins tamed, aftertaste long. A masterpiece.

Amazing, fruit , taste, aftertaste and smell, all about hot weather and cool lovely wines, pure bliss if you like that, needs a burgundy glass or if you have the sensory glass form Conterno, that is just the best.

This is my summer wine in 2023, met with the producer in Bergerac, finally I could buy some, introduced the wine to Vins Ettonants my favorite wine Office in Limoges.
Again I bought more, still amazing delicious.

Been awhile, Barbera d` Alba Aves is the best from the old vineyard.
Drunk in the Giacomo Conterno glass Sensory, for once I recalled the nose and taste, just like a fresh Pinot Noir with anything to adore. The best Barbera I ever had, not like those oaky undrinkable ones you normaly get.

Was left verical for 8 hours, served at temperature 14 degrees celsius , decanted for 45 min, first zip was no nose, completely closed wine, was just some fresh wine that reminded of Chardonnay IMHO this wine could take another 10 years!!
We left a glass of the wine in the decanter, an hour later it started to open. During that time we had a wonderful Ganevat Victor la Combe, Chardonnay from Macon vintage 2019.
