A rather elegant and feminin Pinot Noir from Burgundy. Nose develops with air but lacks intensity for a higher rating: classical red fruit nose with some strawberry and cherry but also some spices. Good but not very good texture. Medium+ tannins balanced by great acidity. Fruit-driven and elegant taste that lacks length and intensity for a higher rating. A good wine but when taking price into consideration questionable. Drank during 2h so maybe needs more air and or time to mature.

Good, but not verry good. Some mature notes, but also classical riesling aromas: lemon, white fruit. Overall a bit too muted nose. The wine is beautifully lean, mineralic with good acidity but lacks length and depth. No maturity detectable but some slightly green tones (minimal bitterness).

A little bit of air helps. Beautiful nose that is very fruit-driven. It has a certain sweetness that reminds me of a ripe melon, some tropical fruits but also lemon. A touch of matured notes. This is certainly slightly off-dry or has insanely high extract sweetness. But the wine has enough acidity to balance the sweetness. Nice texture. A nice Riesling from the best German producer.

Intense nose that „jumps out of the glass“: clearly fruit-driven with lots of red berries and cherry and a touch floral. Taste-wise a beautiful mix of red berries/fruit, tannin and acidity. Very easy-drinking and light. Evaporates in the glass ;)

Second time this year and even better than the first bottle! The nose is relatively subtle: Some buttery notes with a bit of lemon, needs air to show more. But the taste: This my friends is benchmark texture. Silky and smooth but no fat, no vanilla. The wine is austere, some lemon, crushed stones, mineralic. How can a wine be so lean but so perfect in texture. Great acidity and length. Very strong wine!

This did not at all fullfill the expectations. Nose fully muted. Mouthfeel was quite nice. Too low acidity, no length. Slight bitterness. No classic chablis minerals or acidity, no lemon no nothing. I hope for the producer the bottle was off because otherwise this was very weak. Roughly 6months ago I had Montée de Tonnerre 2016 from Raveneau. What a difference, a different league of wine.

Nice but I prefer the Fleurie from 2017. This is not as elegant, fruity and long as the fleurie. Slightly more edgy and earthy. Still very nice acidity and easy-drinking.

90+. Solid Champagne: the nose is dominated by brioche and yeasty notes while the fruit is clearly in the background. Nice perlage but certainly not as impressive as with other producers. Solid length and refreshing acidity. Price/Performance Ratio is on the edge.

Lean, precise with great acidity and a beautiful texture. Lemon, green apple, very fresh with an already impressive length. Worth drinking it now in its first drinking window if one has enough bottles. But boy will this one age: this one could turn into a monster in 15years+

Maybe my rating is a bit too harsh but I am starting to like more and more natural wines. Was invited to this one: Just from the nose and color you know what to expect: a classical full-bodied, medium+/high alcohol, medium+ tannins, medium acidity italian red. On the positive side: plenty of fruit (red berries), some earthiness and a nice mouthfeel. I am certain that many people will like this style of wine. Bur for me simply too one dimensional, too heavy and to tannin-driven and I just do not crave a 2nd glass. But hey: tastes vary! For an italian red certainly not bad!

Reductive nose and certainly not a crowd pleaser. With air it disappears and the predominating cherry and red berry flavours come out. The taste is just amazing. This is so easy drinking: cherry, red fruits, low alcohol, great acidity and all with a beautiful structure. Loved it. This is not everybody‘s darling but if you like this style of wine then you will adore it.

I currently prefer the 2015, but 2016 still a great wine. Reductive nose that definetly benefits from air. Beautifully lean with laser-sharp acidity. So fresh and easy drinking. I love that stuff!

Amazing price/value! With some air a nice nose with some mature notes: mainly fruit-driven with green apple and lemon. Overall a lean wine with more stony, mineralic flavours, some fruit and a laser sharp acidity. Great balance. What a flow this one has. My gut feeling tells me this will age beautifully. Drink now or wait 10 years. In any way you wont be dissappointed.

I love de Moor but this was the weakest I have tried from them. Good but not very intense nose: fruit-dominated with mainly citrus aromas. Very lean wine with good acidity. Rather short, little fruit and low intensity. Weirdly the wine had a strong bitter note that only disappeared after an hour of air. I prefer the de moor chablis wines.

2009 was certainly no easy year but this wine is simply outstanding. It has the typical Schäfer-Fröhlich Nose (some spontaneous fermentation). It has the body, fruit and sweetness but it at the same time is beautifully lean with great acidity. The length and concentration are outsatnding! Love it! Always liked the Felseneck 2011 but 2009
Is even stronger.

It remains one of my favourite Hubackers. A little bit more body because of the warmer year 2011. Typical Keller nose with passionfruit/pineapple/exotic fruits. Great texture and length. Great combination of sweetness/acidity. Like the length! In a nice drinking window at the moment.

Disappointing. Broad, lacks acidity and feels unbalanced.

From Magnum: very matured nose and for me slightly too much petrol/chemical notes. I was scared the wine would be too broad based on the nose but then actually it is quite the opposite: some fruit but lean and acidity-driven with very good length.

Very precise, clean nose. Smooth texture without any oak/wood character. Lemon, some stone/saltiness but mainly fruit driven. Very nice acidity. Not overly complex, rather lean, clear and straight! Easy drinking 90+

Beautiful and intense nose. Dark red fruit, some earthiness. Above average intensity. Good mouthfeel, smooth. Overall fruit-driven but some coffee/bitter tones as well with a clearly tannin-driven finish. Acidity is high balances the high alcohol and tannin well. Not long, complex or elegant enough for more points but clearly above average.

A very solid riesling but nothing too special. For a Kabinett this is bone dry without any residual sugar (at least if felt like it). Not too complex or intense.

A bit reluctant on the nose. The palatte was good/very good: vanilla/wood/honey notes and an overall very smooth/silky texture combined with the nice acidity made this a pleasure. More fruit than mineral-driven but loved the acidity and length of it.

I bet there are many people who would rate higher but for me 89. Nose with apple but also quite woody with some hazelnut. Creamy texture, with enough acidity to balance the relatively high alcohol (too much for me) and oak. For me the wine lacks distinctive flavors and length to rate higher, especially when taking price into account

At this price point (around 70€) just not worth the money. Muted nose (drank it from a Gabriel Glas and gave it quite some time in the glas). Just an average palate with not much going on. No length. Acidity is good and overall it is refreshing. So defintely not bad, but just average. Had a bottle of Krug 166 one week later and this was way better and had a better price/performance ratio than this one! Would never buy this again

Gold/Yellow color. Expressive nose with lots of apple and some toasted aromas in the background. On the palate very fresh, zesty with lots of apple/lemon but also quite some mineralty and slight oyster notes. Great and very fine perlage. Smooth texture paired with a very refreshing acidity! Great length! Would have wanted a little more mature tones for a higher rating so I guess this one will benefit from maturing! But certainly worth a try now.

Opened and then stored in the fridge before drinking it 24h later. Over these 24h it lost its funky nose and revealed its true beauty! Enjoyed it slightly chilled which helped the wine in my opinion. The nose was extremly fruity and elegant with raspberry and cherry(!!!) but also some floral notes! Very intense nose overall. On the palate everything you are looking for: elegance, fruit, tannin, structure and some acidity and all of that with just 11% alcohol! Wow! Just so beautiful and easy drinking! Seriously stunning wine! (Remark: shut down on day 2 but should be easy to finish the bottle on day 1) ;)

A bit more dark yellow than the de Moor Chablis wines. Fruit-driven nose with lemon, some white fruit and a tiny bit of toasted aromas in the background. Great mouthfeel! High acidity, like when you bite into a lemon. Fresh, some salt and a dry finish. A rather simple wine but very nice to drink.

Beautiful Nose: lemon, white fruits but very lean overall. A fresh wine with racy acidity and beautiful minerals notes. Classic chablis: lemon and seashells. Great wine!

I love Keller and I like Kabinett / off-dry Riesling like for example the Keller RR. And while this wine has a lot of positive things (great intense typical Keller fruit-driven nose, good acidity, mouthfeel and fruit), it just is a little too broad for me. Some people may describe this as baroque but for me it feels slightly unbalanced (too heavy on the alcohol sweetness side) and would just need to be a bit more lean and acidity-driven for my taste. Let’s be clear: this is a good wine but it lacks a few things to be a great wine.

The nose is precise with lots of lemon, some white fruit and just a very little hint of some toasted aromas. Great mouthfeel and acidity. Refreshing, crisp, mineral-driven and lean. Lemon, rocks and oyster. A classical chablis from one of the best! Will gain complexity over time but certainly in a first drinking window now.

From Magnum: Very intense nose: lots of fruit flavors (apple, lemon some honey). Unfortunately the wine itself is a bit short. Acidity was good but lacks length and fruit for me. Some bitterness. First time I drank the Felsenberg but to me the Felseneck has much more depth and intensity than the Felsenberg.

Such a crazy but good wine! Brutal /dirty nose: Rubber, flintstone and popcorn?! If you want to understand laser-sharp acidity, then drink this wine! And yet the acidity is balanced nicely by some fruit.

As all 2013 wines from Keller: amazing! Opened 24h before tasting it! What a nose! Jumping out of the glass with typical Keller notes: tropical fruits like passionfruit, pineapple and some lemon. The beautiful richness / fruit / sweetness on the palate is balanced by a long and intense acidity! This wine was long! Everything is there: balance, structure and acidity! It will continue to age beautifully and then will gain both complexity and points. 95 today and potential for 97-98

Unsure if the wine is in a closed stage or the bottle was not the best! Overall very closed. Lots of air needed to open up the wine. On the nose lemon and some vanilla. Too much oak on the palate for me/ oak not nicely integrated. Good acidity but overall just a bit flat with only some typical lemon and austere tones. I love chablis and raveneau but this wine was slightly disappointing.

90+! Great value for money! Laser-sharp acidity that is balanced beautifully by the sweetness and fruit. There is also a great minerality/salinity that adds complexity. Could drink this everyday. For me 2016 was slightly better but this is for sure one of my favourite kabinetts year in year out!

Still very young but the nose has some quite matured tones (fruit-driven) that reminded more of a warm year like 2015. Palate shows dry but with definite extract sweetness and a nice medium/medium+ acidity. Nice mouth-feel but including slight bitterness. Not the longest or most complex wine but lots of potential! Should age nicely and then will rate higher.
