Very good QPR. Color is Clear, bright pale straw. Crushed lemon and lime, green melon, fresh cut nectarine, yeasty fresh dough and wet gravel on the nose. Palate confirms nose, very citrus pith driven and saline and oyster shells. Medium plus-high acidity and a long finish. Will keep buying.

Great Cru Beaujolais that has retained its freshness and restraint in a hot vintage.

Flavors and aromas of blueberry, cracked black pepper, ripe red fruits and earth.

Doesn’t fatigue your palate at all. Could drink this all night.

Golden brown in color. Viscosity is medium plus. Anice, hazelnut, vanilla and caramel on the nose. The wine may be oxidized but still has a freshness that goes into a long finish, where the typicity of white burgundy (and new french oak) is found.

Never had an old white Burgundy before so I don’t think a score would be honest. That being said, this wine has certainly showed me someting new, even in its old age.

Black-berry fruits, red cherry, raspberry, eucalyptus, fresh cut grass and tar on the nose, with more tart cherry and red berry fruits. Palate confirms the nose with firm tannins balanced by enough acidity. Alcohol is pretty high, this wine is best served at 60-65 degrees Fahrenheit.

Purple garnet, viscosity is medium plus. Nose of wet red forest floor dried blueberry, olive, black pepper, overripe blackberry, dried plum. Palate confirms the nose with some added white pepper, black olive and slight evidence of new oak. Acidity is medium plus, tannins are grippy in a good way.

The wine is pale lemon in color with a tinge of green. Viscosity appears to be medium (12.5% abv on label). Lemon peel, underripe stone fruits and green apple on the nose with some floral and very slight evidence of oak. Bright and lively on the palate with citrus, stone fruit, earth and very slight oak flavors (probably around 10% or less new french oak). The wine is very good for an entry level chardonnay and reminds me of a 1er Cru Chablis, with a different expression of soil.

Bright straw in color, very fine, concentrated, small bubbles. Nose of yellow and green apple, honey, orange peel and some yeasty toasty notes. Palate confirms the nose but has some stone fruit flavors as well. The wine has bright acidity, and it is still drinking very young, but still very good. I'd like to see how this develops over the next decade or two.

Some funkiness after pulling the cork but dissipated after adequate airation. Nose of green apple, underripe honeydew melon, baby diaper, caramel and green pear. Very slight evidence of oark on the palate with some caramel/vanilla notes, but mostly green apple, underripe nectarine and a long acidic finish.

Notes of lemony citrus, toasted Brioche, hazelnuts, marzipan, and apple still on the tree.

Ultra-fine bubbles that melt as you swirl the Champagne around your mouth.

Incredible wine.

Notes of pineapple, green apple, citrus and barnyard (the latter goes away with oxygen). Good amount of RS. Still drinking well.

Elegant nose of ripe blackberry, earth, black currant. Palate was disappointing, it benefits from an hour decant.

Pop open or decant an hour before drinking. Very good QPR at $12. Strong Australian Shiraz.

Nose: strawberry, ripe cherry, blackberry, forest floor, sod, hint of vanilla,
Palate: strawberry, tart cherry, overripe pomegranate, minerals, sod, slight manure. Acidity medium/ medium-

Good Pinot for the price but the alcohol overwhelms the fruit. Very warm.
