An even, steady wine, but nothing spectacular. Color was 5/10 - was a bit too dark and murky. Nose was a pit too sharp and not too fragrant. Some earthen notes on the nose and some pomegranate. 8/15. Palate was surprisingly deep and interesting. Licorice hints and a heavy plum tones. Some grassiness as well. 18/25.
