Red
2015 Kirkland Signature Malbec Mendoza
color: light raspberry red; nose: faint oak; taste: medium-bodied mouth feel, unpolished vegetal taste, medium-length hollow finish with black pepper notes, rough-tasting tannins; overall: mediocre plonk from start to finish, inexpensive ($7/bottle at Costco) but not a good value at any price, not yet ready to drink as of August 2017. Costco can do lots better than this. Possibly OK as a base for sangria...but others will have to report back, as I won't buy it again!

Red
2015 Kirkland Signature Cabernet Sauvignon Signature Series Oakville
Medium-bodied and buttery. Aggressive, burnt plastic. Hints of cheap floor mat with a tarnished penny-under-the-tongue finish.
