Loved this beaujolais. A bit fuller bodied than some, very fruity but with enough acidity to keep it from tasting sweet. Also, kept it from being flabby. Drank with home smoked steel head before thanksgiving. The fruitiness and lack of tannins off set the saltyiness of the fish beautifully. Would definitely buy again. Wish I had more.

Great every day drinker. Although bottle one and bottle two (drunk on the same night) tasted decidedly different. The first bottle had very soft tannins and well integrated fruit. Second bottle a little harsh still. Bought a few more bottles for the cellar hoping some time will render all like the first bottle.

Popped open a couple bottles of this with dinner tonight. Think we paid less than $20 a bottle. Drinking beautifully. Definitely over delivers for the price point. Not at all hot. Maybe some time in the cellar smoothed it out. Glad there is a case or more left. Be sure to serve it at cellar temperature, not room temp, to fully appreciate the complexity.

Not a bad little cab. Developed a funny soapy taste toward the end of the bottle. May have been effected by the aftershave one of the diners was wearing. Somehow this is missing all that dusky cocoa that I like in a cab. Overall, it seemed a little one dimensional. I remember really liking this wine when we bought it. Maybe another bottle will show differently. Certainly a drinkable little quaf regardless.

Drank a bottle w/ my mom. She's had the bottle for at least a year, and has not stored it under ideal conditions. In spite of that, the wine was drinking beautifully. Full of zin and cab notes, with the complexity of the other grapes giving more interest. Still pretty fruity but not as much as I remember from previous bottles.

I found this to be a very rich, heavy champagne. Full of apple and lemon on the attack. Lots of underlying flavors especially brioche and ginger. A great pour if you like full, heavy champagnes.

Great table wine. Lots of minerals and acidity. Lightly fruity. Only 12% alcohol. I think another year in bottle and this wine will really come together. Very enjoyable now though if you like a true burgundian style.

Spicy pinot noir. Surprisingly a little hot although the alcohol is under 14%. Nice fruit and body. Probably worth the $30 I paid for it. But, I probably won't buy again. I'm not overly fond of pinot noir that shows this much spice. Can't decide if more age would smooth it out.

We've gone through so many bottles of this. A wonderfully tasty summer wine. Alc of only 12.5% is an added bonus.

We brought this bottle back from Oregon, popped and poured tonight. It has been stored under ideal conditions. Drinking beautifully. I have to say, I think this is a great bottle. A bit lower alcohol than most Willamette Pinot Noirs, plenty of minerals and acidity without losing the fruit. I wish we bought a few more bottles.

This bottle was purchased at the winery and had been stored perfectly. We popped and poured. It was drinking fabulously. Everything California Cabs should be, only better. Time had brought all elements together, and added a deep and mellow richness to the core. Finish was still lenghthy.

A friend brought this to dinner. I would not normally choose a rose this old. It was surprisingly good. Much more finesse than I'd expect, even in a more recent vintage. Good fruit/acidity balance, with a certain mellowness. Not a "strong" wine, but very nice. I don't know what it cost, but I would buy it again assuming the price was under $20.00

Tasted at Kelly Wheeler's. Fruity and lightly tannic. Would probably be a good crowd wine. Inexpensive. About $16.00.

Needs time to open up but is very approachable once open. Lots of cranberry, cedar, smoke, pomegranite. Nice acidity. Soft tannins. Bright fruit.

This had aged about as perfectly as a cru beaujolais can age. Compared to a newly released bottle, this showed much more muscle. Still beautiful acidity and fruit. Not sure it would continue to improve. I think we hit this one on the sweet spot.

Nice bottle. I think it could use another year to settle down. We drank it w/ chicon au gratin (braised endive wrapped in ham and napped w/ mornay). Wonderful pairing. There was just enough oak to stand up to the meal. The wine improved in the glass. I don't know if I'd buy this again though. Might just stick w/ the Dupont-Fahn Meursault Les Tillets. There's only $10 difference between the bottles. Good for the price though.

This is the second bottle of this I've tried. The first one was last year. It is still muscular, tight, and somewhat disjointed. I think 2 more years in bottle, but will try again in 1 year. I'm hoping it will smooth out before it goes bad. Probably won't buy any new vintages of this.

We buy this for about $7. Great everyday quaffer that tastes like much more. Don't confuse it with anything more than a $10/12 bottle and you won't be disappointed.

I love the VRAC wines. They are always lovely examples of inexpensive unoaked chardonnay. They have a bracing acidity when first released. Given a year, the acids soften considerably. So drink on release, or buy and hold a year. Either way, you can't go wrong.
