A slight cloudiness in the glass and lighter yellow color. Nose is a bit muted, but more likely from being colder than needed. Tasting the wine, this comes through almost Chablis like, with minerality, lemon, slightly glycerin and apricot.

Beautiful light gold in the glass with a fine bubble. Immediate nose of Granny Smith apple, slight apricot sweetness and marzipan. The apple and apricot carry though on the palate with a lighter body. This is well made and satisfying

To the eye this is a glass of black ink, staining the glass with each swirl. The nose puts out a perfume that is as compelling as the color, floral, balsa wood, and rich blue fruits. The palate has powerful tannins, orange spice, clove, and baked fruit cobbler, yet not a stewed or port like taste. This can simmer down for a few more years..

Did not have high expectations for this, being such an off year for Bordeaux. The cork was fully intact and saturated up to a 1/4 from the top. On the initial pour the color is a lighter garnet with no signs of bricking. The nose was very muted with hints of dust, dried orange peel, and burnt toast. Let this sit for 2 hours and the nose has remained constant while on the palate this shows strong tannins, mushroom, dried orange, plum skin, and slight hint of menthol.

This is the Grand Cru of all shitty wines. A bright cranberry color in the glass that masks how shitty it realy is. What is that outside, hey you kids Get Off My Lawn. Just delicious flavors on the palate, you Yaks will need to judge for yourself.

Brought to a WL offline dinner. Initial PnP had a well balanced wine, that needed some air time. An hour later this bottle was fully fragrant with some forest floor, ripe cherry, and a bit of smoke.

The color is almost inky dark with a garnet tinge. On the nose a bit of cedar and cured olives. The palate shows the similar cedar notes, cassis, Tabacco, and gripping tannins at the end that need a bit more time to fully integrate. The first of six bottles, will lay the others away for several years.
