A lovely wine. Deep garnet and velvety. High alcohol, but not high acid. Well integrated. Stewed prunes. Pairs well with Italian sausage and red pepper flakes. A wine of substance.

The wine looks crimson colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells and tastes like blackberry, fig, dust, light toast, sandalwood, black pepper and nutmeg. The body is medium/full. The wine has linear texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has medium acidity.
