Popped and let air in the bottle for 30 minutes. This is in a perfect drinking window with rich, complex red fruits, a bit of dark chocolate, tobacco and earth. Loads of fruit showing and harmonious. Everything is really singing with this wine. Drink now or the next few years for a prime window.

Popped and decanted in a flat decanter for 45 minutes. The room filled with black berries and a little bit of spice. Cinnamon? Initial flavors of graphite/pencil lead, earth, and black fruits. Beautiful integration of alcohol, fruit, acid & tannin and a pleasure to drink right now, but you know it’s young. Way young. . Will try my next bottle in 4 or 5 years. Really glad we opened this and tried it.

Popped and enjoyed over 90 minutes. Initial aromas of singeing alcohol out of the glass mixed with a little barnyard and sweet red fruits. Initial flavors of raspberry, slightly sour sweet black cherry and stunning complexity. What a treat to be able to pick out the individual Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet components at this stage. Yes it’s young, yes it’s too soon to drink, but what a pleasure. After about 60 minutes it’s really starting to shine. Not ready to drink now but quite enjoyable and tasty. Can’t wait to try this again in another three or four years.

Popped and then ran through an aerator. Aromas of black fruits and alcohol blowing off. Initial flavor of “wow, this is so young.” However, very well-made and it will be interesting to see what happens. After 20 minutes in the glass it started rounding out and went from a light body to a medium body. If I’m honest, right now this is an enjoyable 89 point wine, but I think in another year or two, this will gain weight and become something quite nice in the 90 to 92 point range. Either way the QPR is fantastic

Decanted for 30 minutes and enjoyed over two hours. Very young and a lot of oak and a touch of cedar on the nose which blew off in about 40 minutes but still very much present throughout. Also aromas of graphite and earth and black fruits. A beautifully made wine, but way too young to drink right now. Glad to try this and see how it’s developing, but will try again in another two or three years.

Popped and let air for 30 minutes and enjoyed for 90 minutes. Agree with others: a very modern style. Initial aromas of deep black fruits but very primary. Alcohol upfront, but after 40 to 50 minutes it became a lot more integrated. Certainly not ready to drink now, but also fun to see how this will develop. Will think about drinking this again in the next five or six years.

- Garnet color - Popped and poured. Brown bricking around the edges with a slight stewed plum smell. Nice acid, but lacking in fruit and overall depth. Sadly, this bottle seems tired and not a lot to it. Over the next 40 minutes, a berry expression started to appear and it got slightly sweeter. After about 60 minutes the funk on the nose blew away, and it became a bit more muscular and enjoyable to drink. Really glad to have this experience and see the evolution this wine made over an hour and 20 minutes.

Popped and let air for 30 minutes. Nose of dried herbs, cranberry and earth. Complex flavors of red fruits, leather, tobacco and black pepper. An incredible balance of alcohol, fruit, acid and tannin. This was a WOW and definitely in its drinking window, but a long life still ahead of it. Will drink another bottle in 2-5 years to check progress.

Popped and poured. Beautiful black fruit notes and a slight spice. Flavors of blackberry, leather and a little chocolate. Way too young but could not resist. You can tell this is going to be great with another 3 to 5 years. Delicious wine.

Great nose of rich red fruits and graphite. Medium weight, with flavors of red fruits, spice and a hint of vanilla. A well made wine, but I should have let it air for a few more hours as it really started to come together after 90 minutes.

Popped and decanted. Wow.. earthy, pure red fruit nose and slight graphite. Round, full bodied mouthfeel, with pencil lead, smooth cherry, currant and earth. Very Bordeaux like. What a glorious wine. Drink now or hold fo 5 plus years. Stunning.

Popped and poured. Amazing blueberry compote and luxurious and complex black cherry. Exactly what I expected and then a great drinking window. Having said that, will wait another year to try my next bottle and see how this gem evolves.

Drank from a magnum. Black Cherry, black currant and dusty, earthy complexity. Nice wine, but was a little muted for some reason.

- Ruby color - Popped and poured. Good to go right out of the bottle, and enjoyed over three hours with prime rib. Flavors of black currant, cherries and a hint of spice. The finish lasts for days. I have a few more bottles and plan on drinking these within the next five years. Beautifully made wine.

- Garnet color and aromas of black currant, mushroom, mousey and smokey. It's overly acidic and has flavours of black currant with a light/medium body. Angular texture with a short finish - This bottle was just not right compared to the previous bottles from the same case. Really flat and tired. Im hoping this is a single bottle variant.

Popped and let slow ox for 8 hours. Let bottle warm up from wine fridge for 45 minutes. The color is a gorgeous deep purple with an immediate aroma of black fruits and a touch of spice. First taste was incredibly smooth but complex and huge. Deep dark black cherry flavors, a touch of possibly blueberry, and a slight hit of oak. After 20 minutes in the glass flavors unfolded into deep cherry, and a bit of mixed spice- clove, nutmeg, allspice. A well-made wine with years ahead of it. Well done.

Popped and let air for 45 minutes. Should have let this air for at least another hour as this really benefits with time. Complex dark fruits- black cherry with a bit of leather and cigar. Well balanced and drinking beautifully. Delicious and ready now but can certainly benefit with more time.

Very light up front on the pallet, but the finish is delightful with a lot of complexity going on. This is way too young to drink. Will think about trying another bottle in about four or five years. Its obvious, this is a well-made wine that just needs time.

Popped and poured served with pasta and fish. Aromas of vanilla and dark red fruits. Flavors of classic Knights Valley bench Cabernet - earth, currant, red fruits and a touch of char from the barrel. Slightly unresolved tannin but a well made wine. Gets better with a 30 minute air and food.

In a great spot right now with explosive red fruit, and great balance. We really enjoyed this wine over three hours. It was popped and poured and the consensus is that this can go another few years before hitting its peak. Terrific wine!

Popped and poured. Deep red color with fresh red fruit, & spice nose. Initial flavor of explosive fresh strawberry/cherry at mid palate that dissolves into a complex currant, cherry, clove finish. Serious complexity and balance here and drinking beautifully after opening for 20 minutes. At the 45 minute mark and the last glass, flavors turned a bit to the tart red cherry side. It only made me want more. For a 2011, we were stunned by this wine. Drinking great now, but could easily hold for another 5 years +.
