A bit hard and austere. Bitter finish. Wasn't able to crack the code on this one. Had his 2009 Rugiens Bas a year back - which was much more interesting.

Reductive on opening. Decanted out after two hours. No hints on day two.

Very acidic. Austere. Quite enjoyable if you lile a pinot with a bit of bite and hardness.

Dark berries. Cherries.

Interesting blend of syrah and cabernet sauvignon from Provence. Dark berries, dark chocolate and licorice on the palate. Needed about 2 hours to open. This is a 2011 - I think it should have waited 3-5 more years in the cellar. Would drink again.

Nose: Intense dark berries, spices, cherries, some strawberries.

Palate: Blackcurrants, blackberries, cherries, bilberries, liquorice

Color: Ruby red

Light, fresh at opening. More depth, lush after a few hours.

Young of course at this point. Lightly tannic finish.

In some ways it reminds me of a Gevrey-Chambertin. Really looking forward to see how this one is going to develop.

Palate: Blackcurrant, with a fresh layer of cherries on top

The acidity compliments a quite sweet base in a very appealing manner. Drinks well now, and for several more years.

Lovely Morgon. Blackcurrant, blackberries, cherries. Slightly tannic - should have some ageing potential.

Fuller than what you'd expect from a gamay. I found it quite non-typical for the grape.

Cork fully OK (saw some other reviewers mentioned soaked corks).
