Starting to fade. Fruit of several years ago is very muted. If you have some I would begin drinking soon.

Over the top good. Decanted and drank over 3 hours. First hour a little tight and even though 12 years old tasted young as night went on opened up. Great to know someone is making wine to age rather than drink in less than 5 years. Ever bottle of Opus One reminds me why it was my epiphany wine 20+ years ago. Hints off coffee dark chocolate and the color deep burgundy.

Opened a magnum for my wife's 50th birthday at Le Pressior in St. Martin. Brought bottle from the states but was amazing. It is red velvet on the mouth just as I remembered. This was my epiphany wine back in 1996. It was the perfect wine for the private dinner with friends. Have one more 750 and will open next year for 25th wedding anniversary.

The wine looks purple colored. The legs are medium. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like mushroom, red currant and black currant (cassis). The body is full. The wine has satin-like texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.

Decanted 2 hours, full on the front but dies slightly in the back of the mouth. Very good overall.

My contribution to 2000 and younger red double blind tasting. Tasting included 8 other heavy hitters (Dominus, Insignia, Shaffer HS, Monte Bello, etc). Decanted for 3 hours, nose was still a bit muted.
Alcohol was present at the beginning but rich deep red berry opened quickly. Slightly metalic but very much the tast I enjoy. This wine was top of the night and blew all others away. Have one more bottle and will likely wait a year or more to open.

Excellent Wine, it took about 1 hour decanting to open. Very much a central Italian wine stong mineral earth tones almost metalic. The type of wine I love.

Very shallow for a Tuscan. Expected much more from a 2004 at this price. Very poor showing. Much better 2004 Vino Noblie's for the price.

Nose was nearly non-existent when first opened but developed quickly of dark berries and smoke. Very deep color. Very traditional Tuscan wine with mineral, earth and smoke. Heavy tannins on the finish. This wine is only beginning to reach its peak only wsh I had a few more bottles.

Much better wines out there for this price. Thin and too jammy tasted like my kids grape juice or a mouth full of jelly from the frig. Had one glass and dumped the bottle.

Seemed flat with very little depth. I expected more. Have other bottles will see how they are in a few months.

Expected more. Was too flowery and perfumy. Not wat I expect from an earty Tuscan wine.

Good bottle was a good choice to open for afternoon drinks while watching basketball with friends. I will decant before drinking next time the second glass had mellowed a bit and was better than the first. Have additional bottles and will begin drinking over the next year.

Great nose of vanilla and carmel but once tasted it was definately time to drink. Decanted 1 hour before drinking. Initial impression was very good but the structure has begun to fall apart. It was not as good as the bottles I had several years ago but still a good wine it was great to share with friends.

Very good bottle especially the second day. Was a little peppery and hot the first glass, finished the bottle the next evening after sealing, it was much better very earthy. Dark rich color. Glad I have more bottles will drink this year as may not hold up for a long time with the earthy flavors.

Excellent bottle sorry this was my last. Very deep red purple color, nose upon opening was very rich with some earthy tones but predominately deep rich black cherry and pepper. Decanted for an hour and it opened up quite well full bodied with deep fruit including black cherry. Finish was a little peppery but tannins were under control. Ready to Drink now.

Very rich aroma and color. Deep red color. Very true to old world style with deep flavors of cherry. After a while I also detected raisin and licorice. Good bottle for the price. I think I will wait a while before trying the other two bottles in my cellar.

Decanted and drank 30-45 minutes latter, first glass was still tight but after 1 1/2 hours standing the second glass was very good. Conventional wisdom says this bottle should have been past its prime it stood up very well this was a very good bottle. Very deep nose with overtones of rich cherry. Still had all the rich bordeaux characteristics. Wish I had a few more bottles to see how much longer this would remain good.

The first bottle we opened was corked. This bottle by contrast was much better but is at the end of its life. It was not nearly as good as the bottle we had a year ago that inspired us to buy 8 more bottles. We will be consuming the final 6 soon based upon the aging of this bottle.

This was an excellent bottle of wine even though cork had leaked through it was still quite good. I decanted and then waited 45 minutes it opened up quite a bit. Very good value. I will be looking for additional bottles.
