Hue deep purple. Nice nose-- dark fruits, jammy, spice, pepper. Dry, full body, dark fruit. Nice juice-- with or without fruit. Popped and poured this bottle. Wine is great option for the price. Enjoyed (and surprised).

Consistently our favorite house Pinot Grigio. So easy to pop and pour. Nothing offensive about this wine. Nice medium style wine, green apples, pear, little citrus, mineral, honey, stone. Great when nice and cold-- extremely inviting. Can drink with or without food. The price is also nice :).
Red
Dark purple hue. Nose is funky-- port, earthy funk, raisins-- frankly smelled off. Was hoping things would improve but it didn't. Taste was slightly better-- spice, pepper, dark fruits. Two bottles I had were disappointments. Well past the drinking window (2016)-- perhaps this had something to do with it.

Mixed reaction to this bottle. Some enjoyed while others jumped to another bottle. Nose of spice, black pepper, dark fruit. Palate of smoke, clove, dark fruit, smoke, pencil lead. Smooth, nicely balanced.

Notes remain the same-- this cab is always reliable. Delicious, dark berry, little spice on the nose. Dark berry, nicely structured, round, full bodied juice. Can be drank with or without food. Yummy!

Interesting wine. In my judgment, this particular wine is over priced for what you get-- perhaps it is the 100 rating given by J Suckling. Regardless, I did enjoy the juice. Oak, tobacco, little vanilla, leather, earth, smoke, dark red fruits, bold, medium tannins, dry. To me, similar notes you'd find with a brunello. Just didn't get wow'd. Perhaps its still too early.

Orange-salmon hue. Citrus, tangerine, leech, red grapefruit, peach, floral nose. Crisp, bright, fresh, citrus taste. This juice is still cranking-- delicious. Very enjoyable on a nice fall hot day.

Pop and poured. Reliable producer-- nose of cherries, red fruit, dirt/earth. Nice full bodied pinot-- mature red fruits, little tart, longer finish. This is not your ordinary red fruit pinot-- it has a lot more depth, flavor, and finish.

Though theoretically past its drinkability prime, this was still quite a good bottle of wine. A rich fruity nose, deep black cherry color, mellow notes of dark stone fruit and blackberries. Smooth finish.

Not a fan. Too tart & bitter. Not improved with food.

Surprise again! I really enjoyed this bottle. Red-brown hue. Mellow, soft, velvety, harmonious, nicely structure, still holding together, enjoyable with or without food, coffee, pepper, chocolate. Terrific wine for the price. Combination of nebbiolo, barbera, and cab sauvignon juice.

Very light yellow hue. Nose of slate, mineral, slight citrus, lemon/lime cream, terrific nose, salted popcorn. Taste slightly tart, dry, long finish, great balance, youthful, classical French chardonnay, very refined. Absolutely terrific juice!

Wine is constantly a "pop, pour, and drink" wine. Usually an easy crowd pleaser-- not overly complex but appeals to the masses. Apples, lychee, lemon adds to the freshness. Crisp and fresh. We plow through this stuff.

Dark inky hue. Overtones of dark, ripe fruit. Blackberry, prunes, spice, leather. Past its prime. Suspect this was better in its youth-- if you have it in your cellar, suggest you drink it up.

Middle of the road juice for me. Slightly full bodied, oak, mix of dark/red fruit nose. Cherry, oak, slight vanilla. Slightly more dark fruit tones than red. Easy to drink.

An average bottle of pinot with nothing overly complex or memorable. Leans more on the red fruit tree-- ruby hue. Cranberry, tart cherry, raspberry, easy drinking with or with out food.

Had this bottle at a dinner with other N Rhone wines. Frankly it didn't hold up-- tasted like fruit water with little complexity. A few days later I drank on its own-- much better. Deep purple hue, blackberry, dry, balanced, spicy. Finish was short-medium. Nothing overly complex. Best with food.

After a number of bottles of wine, the table popped this dessert wine. I found this bottle to be a real stunner. Chenin Blanc-- light orange marmalade, apricot, light, crisp. Super way to finish a nice dinner!

Very special champagne that came from Hol's father. Dark golden hue with no bubbles. Originally thought this bottle was shot-- but then I tasted it. What a miraculous bottle. Despite having very little effervescence, this turned out to be a charm. Caramel was the first taste that came to mind. After opening, it turned to tart lime with a hint of cinnamon. This juice kept on changing and I was loving every minute. Glad to have had this bottle for a lot of reasons and glad to have shared it with friends.
