Excellent. Paired perfectly with thai food at Night Market Weho. Rich mouthfeel and a lovely balance of residual sugar and acid. Warm ripe fruit and lanolin.

Excellent wine. Not as good as a previous bottle however think I did not decant enough. Very tasty and classic style. Beautiful nose of dried lavender and crushed red cherries. Tannins are aggressive and needs more time.

Delicious!! Profile similar to a young Nebiollo, lifted, macerated cherries, dusty tannins have close to fully integrated. Lively and perfect with spicy garlic pizza.

Smooth and classic bordeaux. Served on Christmas night with rib roast and potatoes. Very nice fruit sitting in its prime drinking window.

Excellent, Prototypical. popped and poured with spaghetti and meatballs. Dried flowers, sour cherry, rose petals. Nice balance in a good place right now.

Excellent, light ruby with toasted raspberry compote flavor. Herbal tea notes make this wine extremely enjoyable with dessert.

I was not expecting this wine to be as good as it was. Not a perfect Barolo by any means but it was just about as solid as you can imagine for the price. Elegant and well integrated with lovely aromatics. Dried Violet and bright red fruits paired well with spaghetti and meatballs

OK, so its my 3rd bottle of this and its 2 for 3. Popped and poured...mistake. This wine either needs more time in the bottle or a heavy decant. Wine on the 2nd night was amazing with lovely floral bouquet, sweet cola, and plum. Delicious wine with excellent balance and purity of fruit. This is not a light wine so it will really benefit from a good food pairing.

Wow, This was almost undrinkable. Tasted like bitting into under-ripe bell pepper. Very astringent and unpleasant to drink. Gave up after a glass and moved on to a 2010 St. Joseph.

Didn't write down any specific notes other than remembering that it had characteristics of a northern rhone wine, stewed meat, flashy dark fruit, and a depth of flavor that was very appealing. Didn't blow me away but also didn't disappoint.

Outstanding wine. Plush well integrated tannins, gigantic whole cherry, dusty forest floor, fennel component. Paired amazingly with corn ravioli and shaved black truffles at Capo Restaurant in Santa Monica.

Agree with the other 2 tasting notes. Very nice wine paired great with Pizza. Wet tobacco with a dark red fruit core. Really nice balance. Finish was a little short but otherwise very well made.

Pop and pour - face melting tannins. Decanted and chilled to just above cellar temp. After about 1 hour started picking up some lovely red fruit, dried violet with some really nice balance. Surprised how well this showed tonight. Light orange tinge around the edge. Paired with taleggio, and Parmesan drizzled with 20 year old balsamic.

Excellent Crozes-Hermitage. Striking nose of saddle leather, dark berry core. Vibrant. Very well balanced with subtle and dusty tannins that are extremely well integrated. This is a strong buy. Paired with roasted chicken and cauliflower.

Very nice classy wine. Strawberry's and creme. On day 2, alcohol has subsided and wine establishes a very fine balance. Lovely juice for the price and would definitely buy again. Served with sushi.

Pop and pour through venturi. First taste seemed a bit astringent and one dimensional. chilled the bottle in fridge for 30 minutes and this turned into a much more complex and together wine. Nose of dried violet, so forest floor with a touch of crushed red fruit.

Overall a very nice deal. Make sure to give it some air and serve it at cellar temp as heat does not serve this wine well.

Excellent wine. Rich structure with deep dark fruit. Well integrated tannins after a 45 min decant. This wine is much more to my taste than many Napa Cabs. Paired with NY Strip, tomatoes and blue cheese.
