Nice and complex . We did a side by side with Oreno 2006 , the ornellaia came on top

big and bold. Not bad at all but not a very complex wine. We did side by side tasting with a Serre Nuove 2006 and the Ornallaia was way more interesting

Very unique Barbera, starting from the color very dark . Unique taste combining sweetness and acidity typical of a barbera but in this case we are talking about a full body wine, not a traditional light barbera. Produced in new Barrique for every vintage you can taste the oak, but after 11 years the wine was coming full circle, probably can wait 2 or 3 more year, but not more

Great Tempranillo, i did enjoy it now, but i will wait 5 more years on the other bottles I have. Classic nose, tobacco, cassis, just what you want from a tempranillo!

Perfect now, thick and inky with some nice oak flavor, something in between a cabernet and a spanish Grenache. I had a bottle of the same vintage few years ago and it was not as good as now.

Full Napa Cab, very nice not overwhelming, maybe the Malbec is the key.
You can clearly tell that is from the mountain, very good already now, but I will sit on the other bottles for a while

Don't expect a California super rich buttery CAB, this is not one of those. Nice Acidic structure good firm tanins

Not often Malbec is like this, very well balanced, not too much fruit ad just right on the tannins. Drink very well right now

Compared with an Aalto 2004, both great wines, the Toro is pretty good just after opened while the Aalto really need time.
100% tempranillo 15,5 alcohol the Toro is made for steak for me the perfect pairing , we also had a cab in the mix and for me tempranillo works better

Very nice not the usual full body heavy tempranillo, 10 years are playing a role , I am sure 5 years ago the fruit was way different. I would not age this much longer

Had on the same night with another Nebbiolo blend "vignaSerra" from Roberto Voerzio. Both are "Langhe" and Nebbiolo Blend
Vigna Serra is more on the traditional side, acity at the right level, complex wine perfect to start your dinner. The "Arte" is more on the modern side because of the Barrique tecnique, , the Arte is more a full body , wine for meat and main course.
We enjoyed both but the VignaSerra is more of a classic!
