Tasting age appropriate at first, all the elderly notes blew off and tasting integrated, balanced and delicious with a long finish. No overt oak , tasted like it was 10 years younger. A long time fine I had a mature white burgundy without problems.

Also tasted at enotecca pitti goia in Florence.

Was told the reason the winery still had it was because it didn’t undergo malolactic fermentation and customers refused it. The waiter said after 40+ years it doesn’t matter and I agree.

This is THE place for affordable old Chianti. Agree with AGZ055’s notes.

Initially just cool, and drastically better cold. Wish it had more acid
