very good showing. Maybe just past it's peak but drinking very well right now, will open my last one in the next year

Bought a bottle at a local shop and this is a very good bottle of wine. PnP. Expressive nose. Pure fruit. Little acid and good fine sweet tannins. Great showing

Bought and stored since release, this wine showed extremely well. It has the structure to go 3-5 years easily but it's in a great spot now

From the website:

The Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre were harvested and fermented separately with different percentages of whole cluster. All of the components were pressed in the basket press and aged separately in neutral French oak until about a month before bottling. At that time, the final blend was made and Ravie rested in tank for about a month before being bottled unfined and unfiltered in July of 2022. The final blend is 55% Grenache, 25% Syrah, and 20% Mourvèdre - it is about 80% whole cluster in total.

Tasting notes: Red punch, and fresh white cherries with a little structure to make it complete. Like hiking in the woods on a hot day with a picnic of freshly cut red fruits in your cooler. Chill it down for a refreshing quench post hot day of working outside or sip it for the first red on a night out with people you love. She’ll go anywhere and everywhere.

From Website:

Sourced from a steep ridge in the Alisos Canyon of Santa Ynez with an incredibly diverse terroir that's loaded with limestone and fossils. Planted to original budwood from Château de Beaucastel, we got advice from other producer friends of ours in Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Bandol who insisted that "Counoise is the grape of the future" for their Mediterranean climates.

We fermented in whole bunches and were super happy with the results. The floral aromatics of Counoise were a perfect marriage with the mineral-rich terroir of Alisos Canyon. After aging it for ten months in neutral French oak barriques, we bottled it without fining or filtration.

This juicy red has the joy and freshness we love in Cru Beaujolais, the structure and chewiness we look for in old-styled producers of the Southern Rhône, and the tightrope elegance that brought us to Santa Ynez.

Dead. Fruit almost completely gone. No acid. Weird nose that was difficult to pin point beyond plastic petrol

From the winery:

Tasting Notes- The 2017 Blanc de Blancs expresses oceanic aromas of crushed oyster shell, citrus, and a hint of hazelnut. Fine mousse with fresh notes of lemon cream and sea salt. Brut Nature in style with no dosage (sugar) added, the finish has a clean and bright salinity. Youthful and restrained upon release, this wine will gain complexity with age and time in the glass.

2019 Comando G La Bruja de Rozas Vinos de Madrid Garnacha, Grenache (view label images)
Dark Ruby/purple. Earthy funk on the nose. Wild strawberry, plum and black tea... Surprisingly big tanins. A little acid. Decant or hold for a couple years.

Opened two hours before my Riesling tasting. Was in the third flight and showed incredibly well despite my crumbled cork. WOTY so far as this had everything I want in an Auslese, very good acid, not cloying at all but still pure fruit that was almost electric. Easily see it going for a couple more decades. Outstanding!

don't put in a blind tasting with Champagne. It comes across as a cocktail bubbles that is overtly sweet. On it's own, it could be fine for those who like that style, but it's not my cup of tea at this point

took a good 20+ minutes for the nose to show up, and another 30 for it to start singing... love this wine, just glad i didn't pop n pour and got to follow it over a couple hours with dinner and friends

Consistent with my last bottle. Dark ruby color, no bricking. Good acid and integrated tannins. Fruit fading a touch. A very nice showing for a mature OR Pinot
Red
In a perfect spot. Very well integrated. Dark cherry, balsamic/soy.

2015 Carpineto Chianti Classico Riserva Chianti Classico DOCG Sangiovese Blend, Sangiovese (view label images)
Bought one on Wed and followed the course of the night. Went back to buy four more. A little more "old world" with prominent fine tannins up front. Black cherries, plum, tobacco... I will let my other bottles rest for 18-24 months before revisiting.

Couldn't resist popping one. Light salmon color. A lot of aromatics for such a low alch wine... had a little unresolved CO2 spritz. I'll let the others rest until it is rose weather.

Fruit fading. Still has color, tannin, acid. Will see if it opens up
Red
Fruit starting to fade. Beautiful nose. Color to edge. Acid. Tannins. Just missing some fruit.

2016 The Royal Nonesuch Farm York Mountain Grenache Blend, Grenache (view label images)
Decanted for an hour, shared with friends for 90 minutes (other bottles opened). Cool label. 50% Syrah, 30% Graciano and 20% Grenache. Deep ruby purple color to edge. Big aromatics of blue and red fruit, some vanilla and spice notes. Not a new oak kind of nose, maybe a little whole cluster. Palate is lighter than the nose, which is a good thing. A little note of cocoa/espresso to complement the fruit. Good lift, smooth tannins that linger. Finish is a little short but it's such a young wine/vineyard. Not your "typical" Paso red and see this aging 7-10 years easily.

Mid shoulder fill. Mold underneath the capsule and on top of cork. Cork soaked. Bright light red color. No signs of bricking. Beautiful, clean tart red fruit nose and in the mouth. Good acidity. Tannins fully intergrated. Medium length finish. Very good mature red burg that can be enjoyed now-five years+.

outstanding bottle! Brilliant red color. Bright red fruits (raspberry, pomegranate, cranberry) and earth on the nose. Initial scent did not smell CA, more Burgundy in a ripe vintage. Loads of fruit on the palate with surprising acidity. In a great spot now
