Rich purple hue. Chocolate covered cherry nose. Full bodied, plum and prunes with espresso and cilantro taste, opening to fresh cut grass and raspberry. Lingering white pepper.

Rosewater and vanilla nose. Raspberry and spiced oak opened to white pepper an hour later. Silky with a little more body than I expected for this price. Paired nicely with beef bourguignon (was not the Pinot used in the recipe).

Medium acid, blackberries and vanilla, held up nicely on day two.

Only able to decant an hour, sadly, but distinct aromas of cherry and strawberry with bakers chocolate and vanilla secondary. Medium body was polished, opulent, complex. Smooth tannin and angular acidity. Red fruit and berry over time balanced with pepper and anise. Sweet finish, almost with clove. A dynamite bottle paired beautifully with rack of lamb and pescatore pasta. This is my favorite Brunello so far.

Aromas of mature cherries and baking spice. Taste medium body, plum, prunes, and grippy. It holds up to a bold red sauce. Some leather and medium acid, juicy at the end.
