Rich, nutty, toasted bread, great mousse, and a finish that lasts forever in the mouth. This is really, really good. Might be the best champagne that I have tasted so far.

This is a fantastic wine. It ticks all the boxes for me. It has lots of dark fruit, blackberries and some plums. The tannins are soft and well integrated, with some good acidity to balance it all out very nicely. The wine lingers long and pleasantly in the mouth. It drinks very well now, but will probably develop well for another couple of years. If you can find it, buy it. It is so good.

This is a great wine. Well balanced, with plenty of dark fruit, well integrated tannins and a long, lingering finish. I wish I had more bottles. It went very well with a steak on the barbecue.

A real gem from Languedoc, blend of Syrah, Mourvèdre and Grenache. It drinks beautifully now, very smooth, soft tannins and plenty of red fruit. Lovely.

This is a fantastic wine, white Burgundy at its best. Beautiful balance, yellow plums, a little bit of citrus, good acidity and a long smooth finish with a hint of butter and vanilla. The best wine I have had in 2017.

This wine has aged beautifully, and is still very well balanced. Plenty of fruit, mainly cherries, and a nice acidity that cuts through. Decant it for at least an hour before drinking.

A fantastic wine experience. 50 year old tawny with smooth flavors of nuts, fudge, figs and burnt sugar. Very enjoyable, and very special.

This is like a South African "Beaujolais Nouveau". Pleasant, easy-drinking, fruity with low alcohol level, and a tiny bit of residual sweetness. Perfect red for summer drinking, served slightly chilled.

This is probably the best South African pinot noir you can find. The 2007 is drinking beautifully now, with good balance between ripe red berries and soft tannins. I like it a lot.

This wine is unfortunately over the hill. It should have been consumed a couple of years ago. Now there is not much fruit left, to balance the acidity. It still drinks OK, but it feels light and thin. I have a couple of 2009s as well, which I now need to open soon.

Very nice. It has matured well. Tobacco, leather and some subdued blackcurrent fruit. Smooth tannins and a long lingering aftertaste. Yummy! Wish I had more.

Dark, dense color. Nice blackberries and some violet on the nose. On the palate dark berries and some red meat. Good balance, with a slightly peppery finish. Drinks well now.

Initially slight smell of manure, but it blew away and was replaced by strong garrigue, dominated by rosemary. In the mouth very generous, almost sweet fruit, very ripe cherries. A wine with a lot of character.
