Benchmark rosado. Consistently lives up to its reputation. Pronounced primary fruit, bright juicy raspberry, strawberry, cranberry and recurrent with gentle oak influence. Its the oxidative character that gives this wine its character and nuance. pure class in the glass. Believe the hype.

Cork was damp, attempt to remove with a butlers thief resulted in the cork slipping into the bottle. Popped and poured and wow, still alive! Delicious tertiary leather, mushroom, meaty and spice. The wine started strong but began to fade quickly in the glass. Still did its job at nearly 50 years old. What more can you ask? Wonderful.

Bottle 2/2 consumed. Star bottle of a 10 bottle tasting. Bright, lively, lots of fruit and life left in it. No rush if you are lucky enough to have this in your cellar

So good. Getting into its stride. Power and finesse in equal measure.

Still alive, not much fruit but plenty of secondary and tertiary notes. Drink now.

aromas bounce out the glass from the get go. Ripe red fruit, smells stemmy, very aromatic.
On the palate the fruit is ripe, sweet raspberries and strawberries. gentle tannins with little grip. absolutely stunning wine.

deep yellow in colour, medium + aromas of bruised apple, honey, lanolin, slightly tropical.
On the palate this wine was a real disappointment. If this was blind i would swear this was cider. This wine has very little body, it's so thin on the mid palate, like apple juice with a bitter finish.
At £28 this is a huge disappointment and will be the only time I pay for a Testalonga wine I'm afraid. I understand the premise, I appreciate the effort and skill in the winemaking but I'm afraid that the end product simply isn't worth the price paid. In a word - Hype.

Ripe, off dry, tropical and candied citrus, raw minerality. Delicious wine with good length

Pale ruby appearance, plenty of fruit on the palate, red cherry and red plum, cranberries. Lots of Nicely integrated oak, as one would expect from la Rioja alta. Plenty of tertiary leaf litter and earthiness. Acidity on the medium+ side of things with fairly hefty alcohol. Not as well integrated as it will be in a few years.
At £13.95 a very good purchase.

Pale garnet, dried fruit, not much of it. Hint of coconut remains, austere. As expected. Not unpleasant.
