Oh wow, this is sangiovese... Round, deep, fruity and nothing harsh but the right amount of acidity. After seversl hours wood became primary on nose, very nice wine

Pop nd poor. Fully mature, typical cab. Full Savignon nose of tertiary aromal. Nice backbone, still very nice in place. Dark berries, vanilla, wood, acidity: very well balanced. Goes perfectly with grilled flank, still enough power. Kinda of short. Nothing big, but really matured nicely.
Great to drink soon, wont get better, still 11 bottles and grill season just started, yeah.

What a great mature Pomerol. Full nose of classic matured Merlot. Plum, forrest, mushroom and still a nice Backbone. Not a great wine, but a real pleasure to enjoy solo or with Rib-Eye with Béarnaise and toasted bread. More it doesnt Need to be very happy

There are some bottle variation. Last bottle became a red wine sauce, a delicious, but also expensive one as wine made no fun to drink.
Different this one: mature, dark color and full of tertiary aromas in nose. But also some dark berries, almost compote and corinths, but quite some freshness. Soft and bold with loads of tannins but very soft. Some acidity to give backbone which is needed as fruit is somehow still a bit missing for me. Long finish. Quite some sediment.

Christmas eve dinner. Opend 2hours in advance, decanted. Needed air as opend up nicely. Black and bold, fruit and Wood present. Still Young and Long live ahead. Opend prob. 5 years too early.
There is moderate sediment in the bottle which surprised for its age. It smells like blackberry, blueberry, red currant, black currant (cassis), forest floor and toast.

Overwhelming dark fruit and oak. Potpourrie of dark fruit and marmelade, toffie par excellence. Still nice tannins and acidity, deep in colour, deep to smell at, you cant stop to smell actually. Very honored to taste this wine, great!!!

Very nice south Italy wine. Fully mature but great in shape. Still this sweetness in nose and mouth -younger would be to sweet for me I think. Nice fruit of black and red berries wood as well tertiery notes but not too much. In mouth nice acidity and tannins, great structure. More complex than expected, very nice. On peak now, please enjoy within 3 years. Wow, evolved nicely during time I opend bottle, very nice

Surprisingly Young in nose. Nose full of fruit and power, Tannins still present but nice and smooth. Typical CS bell pepper nose -on a very nice way. You could breath this the whole night. Very spicy in nose and harmonious in mouth. Very good now, but surely the next 5 years as well.

Gereifte merlot nase, voll Pomerol. Schade, letzte Flasche

Perfect to softcheese with truffle honey or a steak. is fully worth 4 stars at least, even 4.3 or 91 points. Drink up I guess within 2 years, at peak now for me. Actually very yummy!

Not quite sure if drink up very fast or hold. Taste changed several times from slightly oxidated to very deep and fruity... strange. But at the end, after 2hours there was no sign that wine will be gone shortly and the wine standed strong next to my rib-eye with parmesan risotto. Will try shortly again

Phantastic wine, really enjoyable. Not the most complex and some pressure is missing towards the end but hey! for this money: just great and very happy. Will check for en primeur 2018

A Clairet styled wine without the class of bordeaux. More shine than anything other. Lovely color indeed. Smell fruity and CS like with some wood character. What I dislike: some sweetness in nose amd taste as well. Biggest complain: No tannins and acidity is not matching well with this too soft designed wine.... an easy beginner wine but nothing big at all.

So this is a 30 years old Margaux wine, very classy in style. Still very powefull (not as mature as expected!) but filligrane nuances in nose. Acidity still quite present as the fruit as well. There is some sweetness around, quite amazed by this. Very nice and still good body. Full in mounth, work going on in it (needs some food for good harmony) but a bit thin to the end (well with 30 years no blame) -good pairing to a rôti bordolaise with roased pommes lyonnais and some bacon-green beens with garlic. I like

Bought 12 bottles because of good reviews on auction: looked like my kind of wine. Stored them 1 month after transportation and opend 3 days ago: Mhhhh, there is basically nothing of the described characteristic in other reviews -basically a complete flat and absolutly closed wine. On second day basically the same -no fruit, no oak, quite some acidity but also nice tannins. Other than that nothing. On day three it opend up and showed some differencies to previois days. So I think catched the wine in a deep and will wait another year or so to open the next bottle.

Opend and poured into glass: Mature color and assumed taste as well: Typical bordeaux left side. Very Margaux like. Fine and filigrane body with good harmony. Very good to a Cassoulet or Stew with Polenta and roasted vegetables but not a blowing wine. But critic on high level I think as wine is from very good quality

So now, this is the reason why I started to drink Bordeaux wines. A Beauregard 2000, and I aas looking forward for this one. Rib-Eye of a pound on grill was the partner. Decidet to open and pour, decant would be possible afterwards. First nose: Fishmarket! WTF? Again: Fishmarket.
Let em breave for 10minutes: wet horse-saddle... well, better, but by far not the smell I was expecting from my previous experience. After 45min: opend up and gave me what Ib2as expecting but not as nice I remember -more on a thirty way. But in the end: an typical bordeaux experience where the taste changed 4 times from the open thebbottle until the end. And now at the end, I ask why it wasnt a magnum as it goes only better....

Dark berrries but closed, balsamico, little wood and phantastic structur with soft tannins. Too early to drink I think -dont know if it is going to be more fruity after some years cellaring and mature and add some complexity ... if yes, at least 3 more points.

Very fruity wine which was in beginning quite close. High expectations couldnt be fulfilled -in the beginning. Needed 1h decant but than it came: Full of fruit, chocolate and sensity. Really nice and with the time the fruity changed to a mellow, heavy wine. For those 14 bucks! Just great

A Saint Estèphe with lots of Merlot. Was wondering therefore opened a bottle: Still too Young or would Need a 3h decant. Very deep, Little spicy, Wood and definitly a good wine in my glass. A bit closed still as too Young. Enjoyed to Lamb what was good but Beef or aged soft cheese would be better. On second day even better, opend up on whole Palette and this Looks to be a favorite wine for me. Now I know why I paid 40$.
