Suprisingly nice every day wine. Excellent QPR @ $19 and a good investment by the proprietor who gave me the bottle to try. Light and mellow. Will be a go-to choice for Italian red sauce and pasta.

Decanted for 1 1/2 hours. Somewhat muted, mellow nose. Berry, plum, other red fruit on the pallet. Firm, unobtrusive tannins are well integrated. Nice special occasion wine to pair with french cooking. Paired beautifully with crusted rack of lamb.

Drank two bottoles, decanted each for 15 minutes. Oak, chocolate, cedar smoke on the nose. Palette of blackberry, raspberry. Long finish, medium body. Excellent for everyday drinking and a no apologies wine for guests.
