Dry, crisp minerality first, followed by grass, flower, crisp dry finish. Mostly a very dry wine, fruit lovers will not like it.

Tropical fruit but not overwhelming, balanced by acid and mineral finish. Not overly complex, but good for the price point.

Highly acidic, low fruit, somewhat dry, simple, quick finish. No complexity, good for a stew, both in it and to eat it.

Surprisingly well balanced, appears thin at first visually, but emerges as a dry medium bodied wine with fruit following the tanin, which is often the case with Paso Robles Cabs. Not jammy and overwhelmingly sweet as are so many California Cabs. Had it with a super prime strip, and it was scrumptious!

Dry, a bit flinty, mild fruit not much depth but some complexity. Great deal at $12.95.

Much improved with age medium to full bodied red, well balanced fruit with tanin, quite enjoyable. Cherry with raisin, a bit of forest floor. Medium complexity.

Great value for the price. Good depth, fruit with minerality, dry. Not just a flat dry Sancerre

Someone gave to me, better than expected. Actually fairly well balanced, raisin/plumb fruit with decent acidity, pleasant dry finish though short.

What you want when you are looking for a well balanced classic Napa cab, with a decently dry finish following a medium fruit emergence. Solid wine for a group appreciation of some wonderful grilled beef.

An interesting wine. Thin to medium body, fruit a bit reluctant on first contact, then emerges. Most notable aspect is a snapping tannic whip of dryness at the end, which has a particular attraction.

Decent table wine. This iteration dark, fruit with earthiness, soft mouthfeel, medium + body, short finish, could use more tanin. Aging will not help much. I do like it however.

Well balanced, medium plus body. Fruit predominately plum, some cherry. Well structured, tannin holds through the end, acid balance very good. Great for the price. Not a cherry cab however if you like a fruity wine.

Tastes like a weak version of a dry white Bordeaux. It is dry, some minerality-decent summer picnic on ice quaffer.

Dark color, berry nose, surprising depth for this price point. Good tanin, should age well but very good now. Great deal. View it as a very good table wine.

Raisiny, tawny, light bodied, astringent, actually tastes closer to Pinot noir than a cab. Little fruit, flat, boring, don’t waste your money. Rye Brook Wines wrote a description that bears no resemblance to this wine, saying it drinks like a $40-50 cab. More like $7.99 on sale.

Really needs to open up. Sour upon popping, but then begins to elongate within 20 mins. Pleasant upfront cherry with some minerality. Some tannin in the background keeps the balance. Thin to medium bodied. Pasta, pork would pair well. As time has progressed, gets more astringent-40 minutes in. Likeable, slow quaffer. Not a lot of depth-do not see the more complex structure others see.

OK. After 4 hours really opened up. Red cherry, licorice slightly, fuller body, dry tannin finish.

It really needs to breathe. Decant for an hour. A nice odd taste as it is almost like a Sangiovese /Syrah cross. I like it.

Thinnish quaffed dry as one would expect. Sangiovese stamp overall which is fine by me. An interesting blend to me. Some fruit but acid, tannin present as well. Good wine for the price.

Does start out with dark fruit and acidic when closed, but as it aerated, became thinner and less interesting as the fruit retreated and the acid remained. Really a decent Chianti with more complexity than most but rather pricey for what ends up as a better than average acidic flat wine. Would not buy again. Needs to breathe three hours. Doubt aging will help much-not enough to work with.
