2018 Mullineux Old Vines White Swartland White Blend
Man this was impressive. Intense nose of ripe melon, with a bit of white flowers, apple. Big texture, medium acid, high alcohol but balanced — it all came together. Not my favorite style of white but very enjoyable.

Tasting. Very primary, nose is not entirely closed, there is some cherry and blackberry and cedar, all very primary. Acidity is not that high, tannins also in check given the age. Medium minus body. Medium plus finish, cedar-like. Not bad, too young to drink but the modern style helps.
