Sexy, silky, velvety textured ripe, sweet fruits coat your palate. The balance between the weight, depth, layers of voluptuously textured fruits is dead on. Rich, opulent and sensuous, this decadent offering from the plateau of Saint Emilion is going to offer pleasure for at least two decades and probably longer.

Nice review! What would you say the optimal drinking interval would be, without having to wait two decades?

My first taste of Kagami wines and it was exquisite! A bouquet of herbs, green tea, chamomile, thyme at the nose. When it opened it revealed lemon zest, nectarine and fresh brioche with butter. On the palate was full bodied and very very creamy but elegant, not overpowered. Just as extracted as it should be. Of course the high acidity and some mineral earthy notes was there.
Fantastic wine. I hope to try many many more of this domaine!
