Really enjoyed this. It was tight at first with a scent of a sports soda locally known as "Faxe Kondi" (Sorry, you need to be from Denmark to understand this reference). Thought it was Comtes de Champagne 2002, which for me is an absolute top champagne. I thought that I didn't like young Dom Perignon, but now I do!

3/13/19, 12:56 PM - Glad that someone could use the reference! 😁 Yes, I think I would pop the bottle now if I owned it. Only thing I am uncertain of is if I tasted a bottle that is not representative of the wines general profile. If you serve it now, maybe you should have some patience with it and then I recommend you serve it in big wine glasses, - not flûtes. I wish you the best of luck with this. 2008 champagne is crazy good!!

Bordeaux right bank 1998 tasting. 16 wines including Petrus, Cheval Blanc and VCC (Copenhagen, Denmark): Excellent wine. Nose is hedonistic and fruity. In the mouth great length and still good balance with dark fruits that are certainly mature. It is not like the Tertre Rotebeouf in the first flight, but both are very modern but in a good way and I find them both lovely.
