Really good wine. Red fruit and some chocolate/coffee with a fantastic long finish. I think this is at its peak now.

Drinking window says it's time to open this and it was not wrong.

Had with some nice Peruvian takeout from a local restaurant. No decant, pour and drink.

Fruit, oak, and spice are predominant on the nose. More fruit and spice on the palate balanced with smooth tannins and a great long finish. As they say, "Drink Now!"

I enjoyed this wine a lot. Complex, balanced, and full bodied. Some others suggested this could use a few more years in the bottle, not sure if I agree. (Didn't decant, maybe that would have helped?)

Didn't decant or anything, just popped it open and drank with some seafood.

Delicious, complex and well balanced. Red fruit with long finish.

Always consistent, this Duckhorn did not disappoint. Lots of sediment, would have liked to decant, but didn't have one available. Nice berry/currant nose, mild tannins and good balanced flavors some fruit and maybe a hint of mocha. We had grilled ribeye steaks with this wine, a perfect pairing.

If you have any bottles of this 2000 laying around, I say drink now!
