This was in a good spot. Like a cab franc crossed with a merlot. Fine tannins, lots of fruit, tobacco and black tea secondary flavors.

Like a baby Austin Hope Cab. Similar notes, jammy. Holds up well to spicy food.

Was surprised by this. It’s singing. Lovely cherry, pleasing tartness, holds the line between light and lush.

Very smooth, less fruit than I expected but definitely cab franc in characteristics. I enjoyed it.

A bit spicy & slight sweetness with notes of raspberry and cherry. Ok to drink solo but fairly simple. Really paired well and came alive with Camarones a la Diabla. Drinking solo was not a buy again. Paired with spicy sauced food... there’s a good chance for another bottle.

Bright raspberry, med fruity nose, slightly spicy. Wonderful with soft cheeses and fru fru home made pigs in a blanket. Will buy again

Attractive nose, open and fruity but not jammy. A little spicy and moderately complex. Good not great. Didn’t pair well with pork chili verde or spicy chicken curry or ribeye... better drinking by itself.

Beautifully crafted Shiraz, bold & spicy but balanced. Notes of strawberry & cherry. 30 minutes decant since it was a little tightly wound on opening. Amazing value. Drink now; also should hold up to 5-10 years in cellar.

Bold and not much else. Tried a 1-2 hour decant on day 2 with no change. Will keep 2nd bottle in cellar and try again in 2 years.

Closed on opening. Needed 1-3 hours decant to open up. Jammy fruit forward but not too bold with a good finish. Paired nicely with spicy chicken curry.
