Recommended by Giulia, I had my reserves... Opened the bottle and gorgeous from the very first moment. Very Brunello, silky, delicate, very elegant, soft profile. No astringencies, bold with an excellent balance, decent depht not extremely complex, good lenght, persistent. Enought acidity and alcohol to keep improving for the next 10 years. Excellent drinking window right now, very enjoyable.

What a huge wine! Powerful and refined at the same time. It has a huge jet of pure density. Pale lemon colour, has excellent ripeness and acidity with an attractive bananna touch. Very well balanced, clean, precise. Silky and oily texture. Excellent freshness and minerality, loong, very persistent! Not oaky. 2017 is a beautiful drinking window now and more complexity to come! Bravo!!!

Still processing this bottle... This is probably the best wine I've ever had. Plenty of joy, the wine was jumping out the glass from the very first moment. Very pure, magic colour, has a sense of noble and aristhocratic character, vibrant, very precise. Best expression of St. Vivant: la Finesse and refinement with an excellent depht. Gorgeous velvet texture, luxurious!!! MAGIC

This is outstanding. Full of strawberries, cherries and petals. The wine is clean and precise. Speechleess wine, very expressive. Not pretending to be anything else, no need at all. Not deep, nor multilayers or density. It is all about finesse, delicacy and beautiful harmony. Everything work together as the best possible team. Monsieur Leroux achieved the best possible outcome from these humble parcels. This is the best pinot expression from a village. Chapeau!!!

From time to time Magic happens! It is all about intelligent contributions here that make it exceptional.
Graceful balance between tension and elegancy. Green apples and a hint of vibrancy on the nose. White flowers on palate, oily, lovely taffeta texture, good minerality and again, hint of tension on the back. Beautiful ripeness.
Everything is well placed, everything is perfectly judged. It is not a conventional or classic Chenevottes, it is a certainly refined version of it. Love it.

These guys Joan and Josep are the best tandem in Montsant. Really have found their path!
Unknown gentle grenache in this region. It is an infusion of spices, bush, underbrush, licorice and sweet red berries. Is the most domesticated and refined version of the spanish grenache and carignan, trully burgundy style. Long, persistent, clean. Good job guys!

Despite the ‘16 vintage, Lamarche has mastered this parcel. Tipical pink purple colour Lamarche, very sexy, exciting. Roses, strawberries and a hint of species on palate. Ethereal and fresh with a velvet texture. Not extremely complex but it doesn’t have to. Big efforts on this Chaumes. Very good value for money. Congrats!

This little boy is showing very interesting! Bright deep purple colour with a hint of reduction. Mellow, soft, pleasant, pretty dense, sweet blueberries. No astringency or heavy tannins, no big signs of wood there. Still very young and has to come up together, see how it develops in the future, it seems like everything is in a cloud thinking where to settle, lacking a bit of precision. Overall experience, pleasant and enjoyable at this very first stage.

I came to this wine again and huge improvements since the last time. The wine was definitely in a sleeping stage, it was enjoying an impasse before singing. The wine is dense and deep but bold and pleasant to drink. Give it 30 minutes and it is a pure joy of minerality, freshness and sweet jam. Big life ahead!

What a wonderful wine, this is all about elegance and finesse. On the modern side of the burgundy world. Lovely pure Vosne character ready to drink. Perfect balance between freshness and ripeness, has a magic sweet touch as the house signature. It shows rich and precise, full of strawberries and raspberries on palate. Very feminine Vosne which will deliver more complexity in some years. Anne Gros is a big burgundy star and shinning brighter every year. Congratulations!

Beautiful Ribera, a nice modern touch. Bright ruby colour, no signs of age. A pleasant hint of reduction with soft and round tannins. Blueberries and blackberries on palate, rich and pure, very well balanced. Fortunately, this is a new Ribera's style much more coherent and approachable than the old world. Fantastic job!

Fabulous modern style village. Pure, fresh and silky raspberries. That’s very Chambolle and very ‘17! Translucid, bold, ethereal, soft tannins, good volume, sweet berries compote. Pretty feminine, already very accessible. Drink now or wait for 5 years! Beautiful!

Surprisingly very drinkable, approachable at this stage. Red berries, strawberries, pretty subtle, delicate and balanced with soft tannins, quite a modern profile. Not deep or heavy. Give it some air and will show you some layers but it will definetly gain complexity and species with time. Today is a joy, tomorrow will be a blockbuster.

In my opinion it deserves a better average score. It is less bourdeaux and more burgundy. I understand that some people is only looking for opulent wines but this one is gourgeous and well balanced. Beautiful ruby colour, not a deep cabernet. Again, less cabernet and more Pinot. Very drinkable at this stage, soft tannins but rich enough. Very good job for 2013 showing us that every vendage has its own personality and all can be interesting as long as you’re in hands of a good producer. Nice!

Tried the day after and a bit more gentle but didn’t improve much. It might has to do with the early stage of this wine but normally burgundies ‘17 are very drinkable though. First time drinking Groffier, outstanding! Popped and poured, singing right away. It is all about balance and finesse. Bright ruby colour shining like a mirror, awesome. This is pure, clean, dense, precise, lot of tension and vibrancy, very seductive. Impressive freshness and volume, lovely sweet red jam surprisingly ready to drink. It will develop gourgeously with time. Addictive syrup.

This is beautiful, serious, elegant, pure and precise. Dark berries, blueberries and wild flowers. Sweet, good density, nice volume, lovely freshness, some wetness. Earthy notes, even chocolate on the last glass. This will develop more spices with time, it will age well.

There is a man behind mastering Les Combottes. It is the best expression of a feminine pinot. Medium light body, it is subtle, delicate, ethereal, floral, roses, full of berries. Beautiful balance between structure and acidity. Amazing value for money!

Deep, serious, elegant and polished. Very Vosne profile with a good structure, noticeable smoke but well integrated oak. Overall very well balanced. Fresh, dense, earthy, spice and mushrooms on palate.
Unfortunately had headache from the very first glass. Something wrong is in there. That's why I give 91pts, it should easily be 93.

Delicate medium body, polished and silky. After one hour decanted it is an explosion of prunes, honey, licorice and mint on palate. It is fresh, serious and elegant wine, a pleasant feminine touch. It is just a beautiful syrup ready to drink. Can easily keep it 10 more years but I don’t think it is going much further from here. Lovely bottle.

Very different from ‘17. More dense, deep and less delicate. Evoques more Grenache than Pinot, less ethereal and translucid. Less freshness, less vibrancy. Is a good wine indeed but not close to ‘17. Reminds me more a delicate Chateauneuf du Pape. See where it goes in 5 years. Have no idea.

Difficult to rate. Light body, high acidity, earthy, herbal, cloudy and off colour, no complexity. Cherries and mushrooms, too rustic on palate, not vibrant enough. I believe it is on the edge of a natural wine which is not my favourite style.
12% alcohol, fortunately no headache.

It has a modern touch, a more burgundy Ribera. Cherries and blueberries, earthy, decent freshness and good acidity. Less astringent and more subtle than prior vintages. Noticeable improvement approach since 2016.

Exotic white Aloxe Corton, not common at all! A bit mute first but quickly open in 5 minutes. Dark yellow as usual from Voarick, nice acidity, good volume, slightly oily and smoky, it is finishing more energetic. More complex than Pernand Vergelesses and less than Corton Charlie. Very consistent wine. Tried '15 and was beautiful, '17 gorgeous as well. Vibrant, good structure, nice volume, freshness, minerality, very rich. It has everything you can expect from a good Meursault. Difficult to beat value for money.

Ready to drink and for years to come. Deep, dense and elegant, lots of pure black berries and blueberries. Enough volume and richness considering the vintage. Good structure but not overwhelming. More complexity and tertiary aromas will appear within 3 or 4 years. Very enjoyable so far.

Very beautiful bottle from an outstanding producer. Pale yellow, pure, precise, clean, polished. Less opulent but more bold than "Champlots" showing enough volume, acidity and richness. I won't hesitate to buy more cases.

Not a good experience with this wine. Tried several bottles and always disappointing. Not vibrant, lack of decent richness. Overall very poor.

Elegant Chardonnay. Very clean, pure, mineral, saline... already approchable due to a warm vintage, fresh though.

More volume than '17, thicker and more pleasant to drink. Baked apples on palate.
Decant it for one hour to fully express its potential. Next year will be stunning village wine. Voarick is always very very good!

Slightly darker than 2009, it is expressing some complexity right now. Spicy, earthy, dark cherries, prunes, hint of oak with a good minerality. Very classic burgundy, not the most feminine though. Quite expansive nose and palate. Wait 5 more years to see how it develops. Already approachable now, good value.

Medium/full body, dense, fresh, young. Blueberries, blackberries, cassis, bloody, can almost chew it.
Pure violet colour. Subtle, delicate and candy nose. Astringent on palate, vanilla, racy, it needs time.

Enjoyable sweet juice, it reminds me of a good Chateauneuf. Wait 5 more years.

Stunning wine very masculine, full body. Not an easy one at first sight. Ready to drink after 5h decanted.
Lots of black fruits, dark chocolate, licorice, plum, pepper, bit racy in the beginning, toasted oak, species, earth. Eventually balanced and smooth.
I believe it is a very St. Emilion’s style vintage. 2008 is hard to approach indeed. Really big treat but don’t open it if you do not have plenty of time.

Big character, strong personality, quite masculine Chablis! Ripe pear and apricot with a noticeable touch of wood. Pretty good structure, nice complexity.
I think a little bit underrated by the previous notes. 90-91pts
