(This was VdF, not PdCC) this strikes me as experimental and while this is not necessarily a bad thing, it brings about flavors you have to explain to a non wine nerd that to them seem off. Wife thought it tasted a bit like beer because there's a slight bitterness in there mimicking what you can find in some lambics that are more on the vinous side.

Anazing, complex, sweet. I'm amazed that a wine made from this grape still had some sort of acidity and that it could last this long.

My bottle has been open 5 days and it's still vibrant, fruity and fresh. Great quality!

Super! If you forget it in the fridge, which seems very unlikely, You can swirl away the bubbles in this and have a great still wine.

This is textbook Alsace riesling and it will only improve with age. Delicious!

Really nice nose and mouth, good structure, mature fruit with a cool climate profile. I'd love to have more of this, bought 1 brl in the Yarra valley but if I ever find it in Europe, I will buy it!

This is an awesome Pinot Noir that you have to decant for quite some time if you open a bottle now. I had my last glass of it two days after first opening it and it was at it's best then. In other words, you should eay a few years.

With this price tag, there really has to be more than this and to me this is the problem with burgundy these days. A nice wine, well balanced, clean and quality fruit but no length and no depth so with a substantial price tag compared to the top tier in other regions in france, i won't rebuy this any time soon.

My last bottle, beautiful, elegant, complex. The bottle was open for a few days and even on the last day it kept opening up. I guess this has quite a few years ahead of it still.

This is a really nice village level burg. You will benefit from lett ing it breathe and it will keep for days after opening. Nice structure, pretty fruit and a lovely earthiness on the nose.

You have to give this a LOT of air or a few years in the bottle. Lovely, subtle, perfectly balanced gamay.

One of the most acidic pinot gris I've had and still with a bit of residual sugar sweetening up the palate. A beautiful display of minerality and almost botrytis fruit.

Might have been a little bit over enthusiastic there with the 92 points but this is a very good wine. You just need to air it for a while to have it open up first.

I might have needed to decant it or have it opened longer. Harsh, low on fruits but high on acids but with a lean smooth texture and some complexity on the palate.

This is a wine from one of the worlds top Pinot Noir producers and what a wine! Delicate, complex, mineral, lovely fruit. Beautiful both on the nose and in the mouth. Perfect balance. Germany is a serious Burgundy-contender with their Spätburgunder wines.

Used it as a base for Glögg to which it was actually a lot better than the other wine (a '11 Californian over-oaked petite sirah). On it's own it's lost whatever it had a few years ago.

Didn't follow the advice on decanting so this was a bit austere day 1 but oh my days did it come back the 2nd day. One of the best alsace pinot noirs there is IMO.

I would have thought the white would have easily outlasted the rosé but here we are with the white '08 fading and the 09 rosé shining. And I'm not even a very big fan of rosé.

This is goind downhill, if you have any left, I suggest you open one now and judge for yourself.

Didn't like this that much, bleak and watery and probably served too warm. Had it at a restaurant.

My first impression of this wine was that I was sad that people would buy this and think it was awful and then never return to Alsatian wine because this was not in any way good at all but it turned out that all that was needed was air and a LOT of it. I stopped myself from pouring it into the sink, forgot about it in the fridge with a Vacuvin stopper on and only opened it 10 days after. By then it had mellowed down, all alcoholic sharp austere characters had disappeared and it was pretty enjoyable and only ever so slightly oxidized. While this was not enough to merit a score higher than 80, it serves at least as a reminder that you need to treat the wines you open correctly to get its full potential.

A nice entry level burgundy, you just need to let it breathe for at least one hour or more for the fruit to brighten and the acids to soften a little.

I think the bottle said that it was a mix of grapes so it's not necessarily a pinot blanc blend. A nice off dry little wine that was easy to drink and lasted several days in the fridge after opening. Ernest Burn delivers again. Oh and the label is just SO pretty!

This is by far the best Beaujolais I've ever had, so rich in taste and structure, if you pin this as a Morgon in a double blind tasting, you are a good taster.

I've never had a Grüner Veltliner of this age before and I was not disappointed. Still very much alive thanks to a nice acid core, mineral and a lot of mature fruit, pineapple, pears and apricot. Greenish gold in colour, old earthy nose. Very enjoyable!

I've enjoyed this wine for a year now and this was my last and best bottle of the 6. The acids of last year has calmed down a bit and revealed mature fruit, slightly oily texture leads me to believe it's made up in part of Auxerrois. Nice fruits, mineral and refreshing: excellent value.

Opened, drank half the bottle, a bit sharp and rustic, then left it with a vacuum seal for four days before finnishing it and what a development, excellent fruits and structure, fresh and vibrant. This wine will keep for a long time if this was any indication of its aging potential. Loved it!

.. this bottle was very much alive and the fears I had of the wine generally being over the hill were firmly put to shame. This was as vibrant and complex as you would expect of a well made Alsace wine with some bottle age. With very good structure, lovely minerality and pureness of fruits, this is just a stunningly good rendition of the Pinot Blanc grape. Not sure if it's the biodynamics of Kreydenweiss, the terroir or both. Excellent stuff!

The cork was bad so the wine was oxidized as much as a wine quite far over the hill and I initially thought this would be the case for the second bottle I had as well so I was a bit worried that I simply waited too long. But...
