What can I say, hit of the evening. Introduced the non-cognizant to the joy that is Linne Calodo! Nicely rounded with vibrant fruit that just makes this wine so drinkable.

Initial pop has a well rounded feel that is very inviting. Nice yeasty flavor with some floral and citrus notes. As it sat, it developed a more integrated mouth feel that I rarely get from bubbly. It got a bit more honey on the tongue. Wish I had bought more!

this was a large california cab that had flavors of plum and cherries with a slight herbal undertone. I made a mistake in that I was going to pull the '06 but brought the '08 instead. It was young but very approachable, will wait on the second bottle for a couple more years.

Went well with fresh charcuterie, cut through the oils and red wine flavor accented the smoked meat. A bit too fruity but a really good try!

A bit of a sleeper hit. Not as big as one would think but after the first couple of sips, it started to show wonderfully, especially against a Wolfgang dry aged ribeye. It had some fruit but all kinds of other ancillary flavors come into play.

Multiple varietals add many small nuances to this wine. Bouquet originally multi-fruit in nature which evolves into a smooth newer old world smell. Taste also originally has fruit forward which evolves into a natural blend.

Went very well with charcuterie. Bubbles cut through a lot of the fat. Just a bit on the fruity side but very easy to drink. Group went from suspicious to finishing the bottle in a short order.
