Mourvèdre business in the front, grenache party in the back. Needed an hour. Enjoyable now. Will also be enjoyable later

Really lovely. Whenever I've had this it always has shows the earth and mineral side of Champagne. You definitely get a tinge of that sherry-esque quality, but it's just below that threshold of being distracting and instead adds complexity. If you have more bottles, I would say it's in a good drinking window now and to drink over the next year or three.

Really lovely wine. High toned red fruit, more delicate and approachable than I imagined it would be at this stage.

Medium body, great acid structure, fairly muted aromatics, some lactic notes and a smidge of disulfides on the backend. Would leave for a year or two and revisit.

Disgorged in 2011. Was definitely over the hill. Don't wait this long my friends!

This is a good wine - pretty expressive on the nose, with tar, cherry, raspberry, pepper, herbs. I don't know what the hell WA was thinking with their 99 score, but it is definitely not that. But, I like it.

Thought this was pretty decent considering the price. Some fruit, some cedar, some earth. Good balance.

From a magnum. Was quite wonderful. Showed the richness of the 2000 with full maturity. Perfect time to drink if you have one.

Drank last night - was drinking really well. Dark cherry and chocolate. Everything was superbly integrated. IMO it will still last a while, but it may be at it's optimum right now.

Mouth coating, floral, rose, lime, melon... I think the distributor notes say its like a northern rhone, which is spot on. Quite delicious.

Disgorged 7/19/2019. Stony nose. High toned peach (in a non-tropical kind of way). Acid is pretty aggressive, especially if you're just sipping on its own. Wish it had a smidge of dosage + a little more lees aging. But, lots to like here. Drink with food.

The more ethereal, delicate side of Chenin - lots of finesse and subtlety here. It is not banging you over the head with green apple, earth and malic acid (although there is plenty of acid), but presenting you with white flowers, pear and minerality. First time I've had this producer and excited to see how this evolves.

Pear and lime zest, with a savory, acid driven finish. Super quaffable.

Do yourself a favor and don’t open these before 2024. So good. Tannins need some time to calm down.

Intensely fruity and rich rose bubbles - pomegranate and blood orange jump out at you from the glass. Some yeasty notes in there. On the sweeter side of dry.

Aromatics definitely jump out of the glass - very floral and stemmy. High toned fruits with intense acid. Light-Med bodied. Definitely could use some time to settle down.

Decent bubbles for the price. Thought it would have evolved more with 5+ years of post disgorgement age though. Still feels pretty primary and acid is still pretty aggressive.

Reticent nose, especially at first. On the savory side, good acid, hint of oak. Will be interesting to see if this gets more expressive with age.

This is the oldest bottle I've had of Paris's and I am still learning how they develop. At first it seemed a little plush, but over time more meaty / olive tones developed and it seemed more balanced. I think there is enough flavor / acid to keep going, but unsure if it will fall apart or not. Looking forward to revisiting in a couple years.

My understanding of this is that is the same as the Cuvée de Reserve, but it spends longer time on the lees. 50% reserve wines and 50% of the current vintage - what I believe to be 2013 in my case. It is an excellent wine. The extra lees time adding lots of additional texture, which help balance the dryness. Lemon curd, hints of toffee, lingering finish. I don't know when exactly the disgorgment was, but I definitely would wait longer next time - I can imagine after a few years this wine will really sing and my score will go up.

Interesting wine. For 13 years old it has a lot of acid and power (although not in the overly extracted/high alcohol kind of way). Needs food to balance it out. Very earthy.

Distinct notes of pear and hay on the nose. Very light bodied - I’d be surprised if it was over 12% alcohol. Lean, stony. I want some oysters now.

Definitely enjoyed this. The long lees aging gives it lots of complexity and body. It came off as surprisingly not-dry for 3 g/L - it's not sweet, just the acidity wasn't as ripping as I expected.

It’s good - some floral notes, some fruit, some leather. Still got some tannins. I would rate it higher, but it lacked a certain amount of concentration for me. May just have been too light for the lamb we were eating. Interested to try some of their other cuvees/vintages

Some blue fruits, yeasty notes and a stony, austere finish. Respect that he can make bubbles without adding sulfites. Find a bit too harsh and the finish is a bit clipped. Tasted over 2 days.

Lots of dark, lush berries. Medium bodied, but feels lush and rich at the same time (still with good acid). As with all their wines I’ve tried, well made and balanced.

Don't know that this will make old bones, but I enjoyed this - soft, almost rose like in color, with some secondary notes starting to come out. Classy, but starting to fade a smidge.

Drinking really nicely right now with some secondary characteristics there now - lemon, tangerine, underripe peach, and smoke with a beautiful creaminess. Did find the finish to be slightly bitter, but overall beautiful. Close to its peak? Will save my other bottle for a year or two from now.

While the nose was shy initially, there is a lot going on in this wine: strawberry, blueberry, cherry, cedar, meat... this is a restrained (balanced?) zin with a lot of acid. Am very curious to see how it develops.
