Drinking incredibly well. Pop and pour, no problem and I like serving after a round of Burgs for a nice comparison to well-made CA Pinot.

This is a wonderful wine, but might need more time for the acidity to resolve. Worth popping now if you have multiple bottles.

Complex nose of smoke, cassis and blue fruits. Wonderfully balanced on the palate and finish; I've always thought this wine was excellent. #5 of 6 bottles

Beautiful nose and a full, spicy palate. A crowd favorite. Double decanter 4 hrs prior and it needs it.

Very good, but needs time. Noticeable sulfur on the nose upon opening so let breathe for an extended period. Will be excellent in 10 years.

Beautifully bright and full for a Bourgogne. Wonderful nose and a balanced wine that will last years.

Excellent. Popped, double decanted and poured. Consumed with dinner after a 2000 Hubert Lignier Les Baudes and followed very well.

Very fragrant nose. Well balanced and silky smooth. Life left, but clearly in the drinking zone.

Popped and poured after an 07 Dujac Malconsorts. The Rhys Alpine is a spherical wine that has improved considerably since release but has a lot of time to improve further. I didn't have the time to follow it for long, but my other recent experiences show that this better on day 2.

At least 3-5 years left. Really nice as always.

Wow. This was really nice. Popped and poured. The SC has historically been my least favorite Alesia but this was great. Very balanced and pure with some complexity, but favored for it's enjoyment factor tonight.

Pop and pour. Way too young, as expected but it did open up slightly after and hour. Still not giving much, but promising in about 15years!

Dark and dense with a full and ripe nose. A big wine which is very balanced.

Pure aromatics of red fruits. Excellent balance. Drinks well after about an hour of air.

Opened 3 bottles of a 6 bottle purchase. Stored perfectly since release. Very nice. Leather and cassis on the nose. Dark red and dense looking. Slightly tannic; otherwise well-balanced and surprisingly youthful with nice body and texture. If well-stored, another 3-5 years easy and worthwhile.

Love it every time I have it. Needs a solid hour to settle down, believe it or not. Somewhat high toned, settles down very nicely. Almost floral for it's level.

My last bottle. Consumed several over the last several years and all were good. A wonderful nose of red fruits and minerals. A balanced structure with resolved tannin and sufficient acidity. Slightly orange at the edge. Very nice and I wish I had more...

Tight at first, but opened nicely over 2 hours; structured and intense for its level; drinking well now but will last for quite a while IMHO

Bordeaux-like bouquet of leather and cassis; full mid-palate balanced well by its tannins accented by its acid. Somewhat floral for a 2007 CA cab. I really liked this wine as I have the 2005 every time I've had it. Consumed next to 1998/2000 St. Emilions and it showed very well. I will drink my other 3 from 2012-2017.
