Fully mature Barbaresco with the smell of a lot of aging nebbiolo aromas. It has perfect harmony on the nose with a concentrated complexety witch I haven't experienced in a long time. On the palate the wine has a perfect balance of the old prominent and soft tannins, and the earthy old fruit and quite high acidity. A elegant wine with a lot of power and a long taste.

Pale ruby coloured wine with notes of autumn leafs, and all the smell of an old wine on the nose. The first sip of the wine has the taste of sweetness on the palate, with un-noticeable soft tannins, and the almost absence of fruitiness, but balancing the reductive notes to the softness of the tannins, as if the wine wants to tell me: 'sorry, but this is all I got left after patiently lying in your cellar for 15 years, but if you concentrate, try to enjoy my last efforts of serving you the rest of what I got' So I make a brisket stew with my SousVide, tendering the meat for 24 h, and hopefully give the old bottle some respect.

A full bodied and deep dark red colored wine with concentrated taste of dark red mature fruit. A well balanced wine with still enough tannins and acidity to balance the power of all the fruit. The 2005 is much more powerful and fruity than the 2004, and a better balanced wine. The wine has a long and some spicy tones in the aftertaste.

Deep, dark and dense in color, with still a lot of fruit on nose and palate.
A concentrated and fruit driven wine with some mature tannins and a slight acidity to balance the mature fruit. A slight disappointment at my first taste, probably as the bottle came straight from the cellar and was to cold, but as I decanted it, and the temperature rose, it seemed to evolve beautifully with a slight higher temperature. Probably best to take my last bottles of this wine soon.

Excellent wine, with high tones of green Apples and peech on the nose, sharp and distinkt taste on the palate, and long lasting spicy aftertaste.
Perfect wine to the chantarelle starter at the Bernkastle-Kues Wine festival in Mosel.

The wine has a deep red colour with a beginning mature rim. On the nose the intense smell of red berries. Om the palate the wine gives a smooth sweet sensation, with consentrated taste of sweet red berries, a wine with mature tannins and low acidity, but enough to balance the fruitiness of the wine. 2003 was a hot, dry year, giving powerful red wines. This is a wine with enough power for the next years to come.
I still have 6 bottels left. I'm looking forward to them already.

Dark and consentrated colour, still with no mature signs. On the nose a pleasent smell of dried fruit. Taste of mature fruit and mature tannins, well integrated with acid and spicy notes. The fruit a bit short on the palate compared to the more spicy notes.
A nice mature easily drinkable wine, probably with no more to give.

Fully mature Chateauneuf du-pape from a vintage not considered as the best, mature and development notes on the nose, smooth and integrated taste, the fruit has developed to earthy notes, my last bottle from this vintage.

Medium dark red wine, with a spicy blackberry smell. Very smooth on the palate, well integrated and distinkt mature tannines, complex long lasting taste of developed red berry fruit, tobacco and cedar.

Smell of violets and mature earthy notes. Pale colour, typically nebbiolo. On the palate still high acidity, and some mature tannins. Not a wine with enough body and consentration to cope with the acidity and tannins. But still a mature wine enjoyable on a friday evening.

Dark red colour, very fruity smell of cherry, liqourice, viols and tar. On the palate, soft taste of mature, ripe, dark, dried red fruit. Acid and tannins very well balanced with the high tones of fruit. This wine has a great length, and will last or a long time.

Over the top, with not much smell or taste of fruit. It has a earthy, leathery smell. On the palate it seemed thin, with fading tannins, and short taste. This was my last bottle.

Medium dark red core, tending to orange in the rim. On the nose it has mature aromas of development, autumn leafs and soil, but still some red fruit/ cherries in he back. It shows distinct aroma of viols. On the palate it has the same aromas as on the nose, but a low content of moderate tannins, and is quite low on acid, as typically for the vintage. Probably at the end of its drinking window now.

Dark and deep purple in color. Lots of aromas of plum and cherries, red fruit, some oak. Solid and rich taste of warm mature red fruit. Very smooth taste, with good balance of acid and a hint of mature tannins. It has a long structured and dry aftertaste.

Dark red berries and leather on the nose. Rich and tight on palate, with mature taste and elements of development. Mature tannins, and a moderate length.
