1/17/20, 12:42 AM - It certainly would! I think at that price it would go up by 2 or 3 points!

Red
2009 Château Les Ormes de Pez St. Estèphe Red Bordeaux Blend
Subdued nose, slight rancio and violets. Short and tannic
**1/2

11/28/19, 2:39 AM - Unlikely as it was stored in a cellar for all of its life. Possibly very slight TCA though. Might very well just be a bad bottle.

Red
1995 Château Montrose St. Estèphe Red Bordeaux Blend

****1/2

11/28/19, 6:46 AM - Wine was opened 4 hours prior but not decanted. Served at a tasting, so couldn't assess over time.

White
1994 Casal Pilozzo Colli di Catone Colle Gaio The Old White Lazio IGT Malvasia Bianca, Malvasia
This needs about 4 hours of decanting before it unfolds into its true self...a fino sherry or a sous voile savagnin infused with the smoke of a burning Atari console. It works in a weird way, although I’m often critical of wine faults such as this exhibits. Excellent with cheese and marjoram.

This is one of my all time favourite tasting notes!
