Not a Loire style CF at all, but one helluva bottle of Napa Red. Full bodied, brooding, great aromatics. I'd buy this again for sure.

Very fresh, a prominent nose, green/yellow/mauve spectrum of flavours (baby lettuce, arugula, lemon, lime?, granny smith, cucumber, beans, peas, shoots and sprouts, chickpeas??). Great acidity, really making me slobber, but it's also mid weight and has has nice richness. There's a bite to it, like chili heat, but this is low in alcohol (11.5%) and totally dry. I love this! This could easily pair well with salad with vinaigrette or rich sauces, as well, asian food, oysters, roast chichen. One of my new favourites. The price:quality:pleasure ratio is tremendous and my score reflects that.

big, fat, chewy wine. not too heavy, but the alcohol really comes on in the end lifting the floral and hot stone notes. I like this alot. Very Parkeresque. The pH is high making it feel a little flabby, but that aromatic alcohol vapourization makes up for lacking acidity in a "warm" way, the long finish almost feels minty

Great wine. Silvery/greenish in its flavours. A little spicy, a little fruity, a little minerally. Nice alternative to white Burgundy.

Started out really nice and Napa-Cabby but quickly turned woody and reduced. But it's not too young?! I was left hoping for more.

Far too young, a 3 hour decant didn't open it up. Rich and structured. Keep 5 more years and try again.

Too dark, not enough blue Merlot-type fruit. Maybe needed time? But I doubt it.

Too acidic, nice nose, red fruited, but too austere and bitter tannins don't help.

Gorgeous nose, soft, but not flabby, creamy. Great red aromatics and just the right amount of vegetation. I have to drink more Cab Franc!

Not as nice as I remember it being previously, but for the price, just fine. A little too acidic for me with not enough defined fruit or character, but what the heck, its only wine. I'm splitting hairs.

For the price, this is a steal. Beautiful nose, soft but spicy, the Cab Franc comes through. What a deal. Drinking really good now and for probably 3-4 years. Recommended.

My first memory of this wines was good, petrol, rocks, austere fruit. But this bottle was kind of metallic and akward. Second day it showed more stone fruit, but no lime, no clean petrol, I suppose terroir. Bitter finish. I wouldn't buy this again.

Good buy, but not the best. Better than Crawford, not as good as Astrolabe. Had a bit of an onion-skin or bitter pith edge to it. Nice passionfruit and grapefruit notes though. Good with cheese plate. Summer wine.

Way too young, but this wine is a monster! I couldn't wait to open it, but I think I did it a disservice. I'd buy this again. Vibrant, inky fruit. Really charming. I'd love to drink this with grilled short ribs.
The bottle is obnoxiously big though. Looks like a magnum.

A haunting nose. Really complex. The entry was gentle and fine, and then a wave of minerals followed. I loved it. After an hour, the minerals disappeared and chewy, red fruit followed. Long finish. Glad this was this good, because I've heard that they're austere. Can't wait to drink the Mills.
