Very fine, elegant and complex. Wonderful nose, cherry, dark berries, violets, licorice, pepper and a hint of clove. Integrated, fine tannins. Côte-Rotie finesse at its best. Lovely to drink now, but will develop even more in the next 4-5 years. Bravo.

I was worried about this bottle. Last four (different) people that tasted the wine reported it as flawed here in Cellar Tracker. I was lucky, my bottle (bought at Flatiron, NY, in 2015) was perfect. Dark fruit, very spicy, excellent acidity and balance. Great wine.

Opened and poured. A bit shy on the begnning but then expanding in a complex bouquet of dark fruits, figs and leather with an earth note. Good balance with tannins fully integrated. Excellent now will last and improve for a long time.
