3/26/24, 8:10 PM - SARED, not sure, but may be time to check back in.
12/30/23, 9:26 AM - I’ve had the ‘08 relatively recently. It’s drinking very well.
12/13/20, 1:38 PM - I did not decant as we had over two nights, but I think the wine would benefit from a decant right now.
7/23/20, 4:22 PM - chicagowino, at the Bourgogne level, I like Roulot, Boisson-Vadot, Leflaive, PYCM and Ramonet (there may be others I'm forgetting) better. Even beyond the Bourgogne level, at the price I'd take a Lamy St. Aubin 1er or something like a Ramonet Chassagne.
6/29/19, 8:01 AM - I don’t think there’s any risk of this falling off in the immediate future, just don’t see enough structure such that there is much upside to further aging.
4/7/18, 6:38 AM - TheLittleHorse, this was my first time having a wine from this producer, so I can't comment on changes in style. I can only say I like whatever style this 2012 was as I thought the wine was fantastic.
6/12/16, 8:09 AM - BuzzzzOff, I think in a cold cellar it could definitely go another 10 years.
3/31/16, 11:02 AM - arthrovine, I did not prepare, but doing so in one way or another would be advised. If I were going to open another now, I'd give it a good decant.
2/10/16, 8:44 PM - I wouldn't worry about it. Corked bottles are inevitable and, should you get one, Maybach's customer service is first class.
7/11/13, 6:54 PM - The Turleys from 2011 seem to really be something. Looking forward to trying this one.
5/11/10, 2:39 PM - I saw you've posted a note on both the '08 Peters and the '08 TM - which is in a better spot right now (i.e., which one should I pop?)? Thanks.
3/16/10, 1:43 PM - I have not had the KB Kanzler, although I have had other KB bottlings and I enjoy them. The KB's I've had seem to be similar in style to this Kanzler. Kutch is another winery that makes a very good, albeit differently styled, Kanzler bottling.
Thanks for letting us know about this problem. We will review your comments and be in touch soon with an update.
