After another seven months, the fruit, cocoa, menthol flavors are all much more integrated and the nutty violet character is stronger now. The medium-plus body has fine tannins and a very fresh character.

Blackberry, spicy cinnamon bark and nutmeg, strawberry, licorice, mint, white flower. It is a very plush body with generous flavors and some acid bite on the finish. Needs decanting.

There is a blackberry, strawberry, smoke and cardamom lift in the nose layered on stable and eucalyptus. The palate is inky, acidic, fruity, perhaps a bit reticent, will build a lot of great character with more age.

The nose has honeycomb, jasmine, rambutan, quince marmalade, a strong wintergreen and bubblegum note. Gobs of body with a strong creamy almond character. There is pronounced acidity and a long succulent finish. A bold take on chardonnay, and in my opinion best enjoyed sooner rather than later.

The nose is dark and smoky with clean floral notes and eucalyptus in the back. Body has good weight with a bright lift on the finish. Drinks easy and smooth; a day open also treats it well with more fruit and chocolate in the body.

Rich silky nose with cocoa, pastry, forest floor, floral. Lots of body with plenty of tannic grip. It is a little reticent but great where it shows and will do well with another couple of years in the cellar.

Cherry and tomato, lots of bright red fruit with smoke and savory notes. The body is medium and acidic with a juicy finish. Really fills out with an hour or two of air (bumped up an extra couple of points).

25% Merlot, 205 Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Syrah, 15% Caladoc, 10% Cabernet Franc, 10% Grenache, 5% Carignan. Not bad, by any means, but it feels quite all over the place.

Orange peel, liquorice, menthol, tar, dark fruit on the nose... There is plenty of acidity on the palate with notes of balsamic and dark fruit but a light body. Fairly bright, drinks well, somewhat simple. Somehow I feel it gets worse with air, since the primaries drop out very quickly -- it needs much more time to build more secondary and tertiary character.

The nose is brandied cherry with a deep, earthy, vegetative character like beets. There's a lot of vanilla and oak on the palate with some smoke and dill; the primary flavors still dominate. Body is quite rich and needs some air to open up where more pepper, licorice and spice notes begin showing.
