It was the second bottle of the night after some below average Pillar Estates, so I believe this Napa Cab Sav was great!! Don't know how much my taste buds were affected though!!

Delivers immediate intensity from the first sip, blackberry fruit enhanced by nuances of licorice; has tremendous vitality and thrust to the long palate and finish. Drink [until] 2026. Score - 96. (James Halliday, www.winecompanion.com.au, March 2008)

A fruity young red, with crushed berry and mineral character on a soft, silky medium-to-full body, with plump fruit and a clean finish. Always good value. Drink now. Score - 87. (James Suckling, www.winespectator.com, Oct. 31, 2008)

Bright and generous, this is nicely focused to show off its cherry and spice flavors, picking up a savory note as the finish lingers. Drink now through 2013. Score - 90. (Harvey Steiman, www.winespectator.com, Feb. 28, 2009)

When it comes to Cabernet Sauvignon the Napa Valley is as good as it gets and our wine of the week delivers all the luscious, intense dark fruit and complex flavors that is soooo Napa ... This wine is a full bodied showcase of blackberry and cassis tastiness with an underlying layer that's like a nip of dark chocolate. It's youthful, vibrant and drinkable - the perfect choice to pop open anytime you want to be transported to Napa ... Gotta love it ... (www.winexperience.com, July 31, 2009)

Drank with a Turkey dinner and found it to be a little more spice than I had expected. Once the food was done, the wine softened. My first Pinotage!!

nice cab from Argentina, totally unexpected!! I found blackberries and cinnamon? on the nose. Not as heavy as some other cabs but very good nonetheless!

This wine needs to be decanted. I had a glass after opening, and I was going to return the second bottle I had bought. After about 2 hours of being open, it was alot better. Will keep the second bottle but open well before I want to drink it.

Very nice nose, dark cherrys are huge with enough spice to tickle the nose hairs. Medium to long finish, red bell peppers and a leathery spice on the pallett. I would buy this again!

Very easy wine, needed some decanting. Fruit forward on the pallett and floral on the nose. I missed the spice, but lots of plum. I did not drink with any food and I think I would prefer it that way. 86 in my books.
