first nose after opening: intensive black currant - promising more than afterwards delivered

after decanting:
a little bit of alcoholics
a lot of tannins + toasting
good structure but not harmonic now
it needs now at least 3 h of decanting to go get a little bit smother

it needs time! - wait 5 Years

Tanins good structured but not integrated , bitter almond, wild chery, needs at least 2-3 hrs air, nice nose with some juicy red berries, dark chocolate, wait another 2 years - might improve, when tanins gets smother, but not for long term aging acity might get dominant

20 min dekantiert ca. 18 Grad
1. Nase: Kaffee etwas Vanille breit und sehr sauber, Mineralik und Erde, Tabak
2. Nase: Schokolade Brombeere

Drank from 0,375 Bottle: Wonderfull bdx with a lot of terrior, sweat and complex, already matured and close to the Top ? Hidden tanins, strawberry, flowers (violets), plum, vanilla, chocolate, Earth, barnyard. Medium to Full Body and finish. But the bottles from 1 case differ extremly in Aspect of the nose: i had 2 of 6 bottles with Extreme barnyard nose which lowers with decanting 3 hours

Dark red almost Black no Orange at the Glas Border
1st nose : cassis, Vanille ,Chocolate, Celler, Earth
2nd nose : a Lot of Fruit - whow ! , Figs
The first sip After 10 minutes : a litle Bit thin but After 5-10 seconds in the mouth it changes to a fully bodied wine - you think you have a cherry between the teeth and there is a long Finish, the tannins are already smoother than at arrivage. But they are Not yet Balanced.
After 1 Hour:
Nothing at this wine is thin the tannins are smoother but more present Almonds bitter
After 2 houres:
N: less fruit, dried plum, a little bit ethanol?
Mouth: Wild cherry with a Lot of tanins

This was just a 1/2 bottle and it was much too early to Drink - but i'm very glad to Own 1 Full Case of normal bottles and a Case of 1/2 bottles. I'm sure this wine will go up to 93-95 Points when it matures.
Drank standalone

opened 3 Magnums and 1 0,75l in the office for my colleges. The smaler bottle was even better than the magnum since it showed more fruit. Both formates had a perfect balance and the smal bottle was very close to the high. So my last magnum keeps in (cool) cellar another 3-5 Years.
