Med body with cassis, pencil lead, soft earth and a hint of anise. Med tannins are very smooth and give a nice, balanced grip to the finish. Drinking well now.

Med-full body for a pinot with underlying minerality and flavors of cherry and tobacco. Enjoyable wine with an interesting and somewhat unique flavor profile.

Firm structure with restrained blackberry, blueberry and plum skin. Distinct Brett and French oak component. Lingering finish coats the palate and slowly reveals eucalyptus, sage and baking spice. Complex, layered wine but feels a bit tight at the moment.

Bright red fruit with distinct cassis flavor. Soft tannins and medium finish. Good wine but I think it lacks the structure for any further aging potential. And, while it is a nice wine, I don't think it's worth the high tariff.

Bold flavors of black cherry and baking spice with a healthy dollop of oak (a bit too much for my palate). However, the delicious, lingering aftertaste makes up somewhat for this shortcoming. A very good wine, but others are better for less $$.

Had this in a blind tasting against 3 different vintages of Silver Oak and this was everyone's least favorite. Bright fruit and a somewhat hot finish. This producer is typically one of my favorites but this wine seems to be a miss.
