Saved for special occasion and glad that I did. Rich, full-bodied, pleasant aromas of berry and vanilla. Satisfying mouthfeel, smooth, warm spice, long finish. Held well in the glass over dinner and beyond.

Needs to breathe for about an hour. Upon opening the aroma is intoxicating, ripe red fruits. A bit tart to start but mellows to a rich balance of tannin perfect for red meat. Flavor is bold but not overpowering. Nice fruit profile with subtle spice.

Sat in fridge for 3 years before opening. Nice strawberry color, floral aromas and fantastic flavors of cranberry and pear. Will definitely try a more recent vintage to see how consistent it can be and then stock up because this is a very adaptable bubbly with food and simply drinking.

Pleasant to drink but weak. Good acid, some flint but little fruit on nose or pallet. Was ok pairing with food but not complex. Drank somewhat fast because it was like drinking water rather than something you take time to savor.
