As mentioned in the other note, getting a lot of earthiness and sour berry notes that I haven't really experience in Gamay before, and I'm really digging it!

If you find yourself at Castello di Casole I would not hesitate ordering this if you are looking for a simple but well done wine. I was given this as a gift as we left the property, and it is exceeding my expectations.

Would recommend a 2 hr decant. I double decanted and periodically tasted, and it took until the 2 hr mark for the fruit to emerge. Very enjoyable at a nice price!

Drinkly nicely, but definitely a very light Pinot as others have noted. I don’t think there’s much to be gained by additional aging. Glad I opened and reclaimed the cellar spacw.

Drank over 2 days. Day 1 - did a 45 min decant prior to diving it, but it still needed much more time. Saved most of the bottle for day 2, where it was much more open and extremely enjoyable.

Definitely feels a little early to be opening this, but I had 6 bottles and wanted to give it a go. I'll be waiting until at least 2025 to open my next bottle.
